Fig. 3 und 4 eine Ausführungsvariante als Schlaf-, bzw.
Aufenthaltskoje eingerichtet,
Fig. 5b eine Variante zu Fig. 5a.
The invention relates to a multi-storey berth divided into berths with a frame that is open at least on one side, each bunk having two or three lying levels arranged next to one another in three or four lying levels arranged one above the other, the two lowest lying levels convertible into two rows of seats with backrests and / or side panels are.
Wherever several people live together and in particular have to sleep in as small a space as possible, such as ships, couchettes, sleeping cars, holiday homes, military and civil defense systems or the like, folding benches, folding beds or foldable beds or beds are used as a bench or bed using furniture used. These seating and reclining opportunities are usually assembled in a bunk, with the seating or reclining opportunities being arranged next to or on top of one another. Several bunks are arranged next to each other to accommodate many people. If these berths are intended for permanent residence, as is the case, for example, in air raid systems, each bunk should form a unit that is closed except for the entrance and have the same number of seats as berths.
Bunks are known, in particular for air raid purposes, in which two benches serving as seating and sleeping accommodation are provided in a frame on a lowest level, three lying next to each other and folding to the side and on the top floor three fixedly arranged beds are provided on a top floor. To make better use of the space, a cot is placed between the two berths on the lowest level. In the middle level, the bed can be lowered and designed as a table.
The sleeping place according to the invention of the type mentioned at the beginning is characterized in that all rows of seats and lying levels are attached to the frame.
Various exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing. Show it:
Fig. 1 an insight into a civil protection bunk that serves as a bunk for six people,
Fig. 2 the same type of bunk as a sitting and lounge area for six to eight people,
3 and 4 show a variant as a sleeping or sleeping area.
Bunk set up,
Fig. 5a is a schematic representation of a bunk furniture with three berths per level and
FIG. 5b shows a variant of FIG. 5a.
The berths shown are made up of two lateral supports 1 each, which are connected by longitudinal struts 2 and cross struts 3. If there are several berths next to each other, a pair of supports serves as supports for both berths.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the bed units consist of an approximately rectangular tubular frame 4 over which a cloth 40 is stretched as a bed mat. The attachment of these frames to the frame 1, 2, 3 varies depending on whether the bed units belong to the lowest level 1, middle level II or level III of the sleeping area.
The lowest lying levels can be converted into rows of seats. Its attachment consists on the back of the berth from support to support continuous cross brace 3 made of angle iron as a support surface and a rail 30 attached to the front support from angle iron. The rail extends on both sides of the support by approximately half the width of a bed frame 4. As a bed, the frames 4 of the lowest level are pushed together. When converting the bunk into a lounge for daytime operation, a frame is pushed out of each bunk by half its width over the support. The position shown on the left and right in FIG. 2 is obtained. A frame is now superfluous in every bunk except the outermost. This is inserted vertically between a pair of supports and serves as a back support and / or side panel against the adjacent bunk.
The width of the seat corresponds to half the width of a lying surface. The table inserted into the open space obtained is denoted by 5.
The bed units 4, 40 of the middle level II are rotatably arranged between the supports. A frame part 4 'serves as a pivot axis. To support the frame in the horizontal position, the lever 7 is used according to FIG. 2, which is hinged on the one hand to the frame 4 and on the other hand slides in a groove 70 of the support. The stop bracket 77 serves to support the frame according to FIG. 1. In both cases, the vertically standing frame can be held by means of a known latch, not shown. In daytime operation, the bed units on middle level II serve as a side screen 45 to the adjacent bunk.
The bed units 4, 40 of the top level are normally left in the same place for both day and night operation. Your frames rest on the cross struts 3.
An embodiment variant is shown in FIGS. 3, 4, Sa to 5b. The frame in turn consists of supports 1, transverse 2 and longitudinal struts 3. The main difference is the structure of the individual sitting and lying areas. These consist of two side bars 6, between which a mat 60 is attached. To save weight, the rods can be designed as tubes. The lounger units 6, 60 are fastened by inserting the rods 6 in holders 9, which holders prevent the rods 6 from shifting laterally relative to one another, so that the lying mat remains constantly tensioned. The holders can be U-shaped 9 or angular 90 or they can be designed as pins 99 which can be inserted into holes 66 in the rod 6.
Fig. 3 shows the bunk set up as a bed for six people. In the two uppermost levels II, III, cross struts 3 are used between the supports of two pairs of supports for fastening two bed units 6, 60 each. The cross struts 3 have an L-shaped cross-section and are provided on their inside angle with holding means in the form of U-irons 9 or angles 90 for the bars 6 of the beds. The bars 6 of the berths are held in place by the holding means. The lying mats 60 arranged between the bars remain taut.
In the lowest level I, there are also two bed units. A horizontal, tubular rail 8 is attached to the front support 1 and protrudes on both sides of the support by approximately half the width of a bed unit 6, 60.
A rod 76 with a support 88 is pushed into this pipe rail 80 on both sides, the rod being secured in the rail in the extended position (FIG. 3) by means of the bolt 80. 3 clearly shows that all rods 6 are secured against shifting against one another. The bed units are very stable thanks to the direct support of both bars.
The lying mat is preferably made of a non-rotting material.
To convert the bunk to daytime operation, the two bed units on the lowest level I are converted into bench seats and the two bed units on the second lowest level are removed so that there is free space. For this purpose, the bolts 80 are loosened and the rods 76 sunk into the rails 8. The rods 6 of the lowest lying units are removed from their holders and used to form the backrest 66 u./od. The side panel 65 to the adjacent bunk is placed in new, somewhat recessed holders, where one rod lies on the cross struts 3, 8, 76 and the other rod is placed on the holder 91 of the supports 1.
The lying mat 60 forms, as FIG. 4 shows, a bench.
The upwardly drawn part forms the backrest 66. A collapsible table 5 can be inserted into the space between the two bench seats formed in this way.
The unhooked bed units 6, 60 of the second lowest level II are suspended vertically between a pair of supports 1, specifically on the holders 91.
Since the individual lying units are not fixed frames 4, but rather two rods 6 connected by a lying mat 60, the possibility of variation within the bunk is significantly greater. It is important to fix the bars. Arrangement variants are shown in FIGS. 5a and 5b.
In Fig. 5a, three berths are arranged in the bunk per level. All three lying units have a common lying mat 60 with longitudinally extending hollow seams 66 into which the rods 6 are inserted. It is important that the rods 6 lie snugly in the hollow seams, so that no lateral yield is possible. The upper figure shows a schematic cross section through the couches, the lower figure the arrangement and attachment of the rods of the couch units.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 5b, three beds are again arranged next to one another, with other holding means being used. On the right, the two bed units are made up of a mat, on the left of a mat with a flap turned back on the side. This flap serves as an additional headrest in the reclining level converted into a bench by pulling it up along the supports 1. With the pin 99, a variant of the holding means of the rod 6 is shown.
Another possibility of arranging the lying surfaces is, for example, that with three lying areas next to each other in the lowest level two lying units with frames, as shown in FIGS is hinged. Instead of the further frame, only one mat bed with rods according to FIGS. 3 and 4 can be attached.
Since the bunks are preferably berths for shelters for civil defense, which rooms are used for other purposes in peacetime, they are made up of dismountable frames. 1 to 4 show a possibility of connecting a transverse 3, 30 or longitudinal strut 2 or a rail 8 with a support 1. A downwardly narrowing tab 18 is arranged on the support, into which a wedge 81 of the rail 8 has retracted.
1 to 4 show bunks with six berths. The description explains the expansion of these berths to nine berths, with three berths arranged next to one another on each level. On the bench seats according to FIGS. 2 and 4 there is space for four people next to each other, which corresponds to the normal length of a bed. For the most efficient use of the space, the bunk can now be built higher, with four lying levels on top of each other with two lying units next to each other, which offers space for eight people. This means that the number of berths corresponds to the number of seats.
