Description
La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif pour l'élimination des gaz exhalés par un patient sous anesthésie. Les techniques actuelles de l'anesthésie opèrent avec des équipements qui n'éliminent pas l'air et les gaz exhalés par le patient à l'extérieur du local, ce qui a pour effet d'exposer le personnel travaillant en salle d'opération à des risques d'intoxication dus à des gaz tels que le Fluothane qui engendre des hepato- toxiques et le Penthrane qui engendre des disfonctions rénales. En effet, il est reconnu dangereux d'utiliser ces gaz pour les patients plus d'une fois par mois, alors que le personnel travaillant en salle d'opération, et particulièrement l'anesthésiste, y sont exposés journellement. L'invention a pour but d'éviter ces inconvénients. Le dispositif qui en fait l'objet est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un récipient fermé muni d'une conduite d'entrée pour les gaz exhalés par le patient et d'une conduite de sortie placée à la partie inférieure du récipient pour l'évacuation de ces gaz, la conduite d'entrée étant munie, à l'intérieur du récipient, d'une valve réglable. La figure unique du dessin ci-joint représente, à titre d'exemple et schématiquement, une forme d'exécution de la présente invention. Le dispositif représenté comprend un récipient fermé en matière transparente A, pourvu de deux fonds B et C, et d'une conduite d'entrée P, disposée sur le circuit expiratoire L du patient, les dimensions du récipient étant appropriées au volume expiratoire d'un être humain. Une valve F G, disposée à l'extrè- mité de la conduite P, est pourvue, à son sommet. d'une vis de réglage E, permettant de varier la pression intrapulmonaire selon le besoin du patient, la valve F G, avec son siège G, présentant une forme étudiée pour faciliter l'écoulement descendant des gaz exhalés. Les gaz introduits dans le récipient A, soit par l'expiration spontanée du patient, soit avec l'assistance de l'anesthésiste. s'écoulent librement par la conduite de sortie H. située à la partie inférieure du récipient, et sont ensuite évacués soit par un manchon perforé, soit par un venturi I, dont une extrémité est branchée sur l'aspiration J, qui extrait les gaz à l'extérieur.

- REVENDICATIONDispositif pour l'élimination des gaz exhalés par un patient sous anesthésie, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un récipient fermé muni d'une conduite d'entrée pour les gaz exhalés par le patient, et d'une conduite de sortie placée à la partie inférieure du récipient pour l'évacuation de ces gaz. la conduite d'entrée étant munie, à l'intérieur du récipient, d'une valve réglable.SOUS-REVENDICATION Dispositif selon la revendication, caractérisé en ce que la conduite de sortie est munie d'un venturi.
