Werden Türen neu gestrichen oder gespritzt, so besteht die Gefahr, dass die Türgriffarmatur mit Farbe verschmiert wird. Unter Türgriffarmatur sei dabei der Türgriff selbst sowie die Abdeckplatte darunter verstanden. Die anhin bekannte wirksame Massnahme gegen das Verschmieren der Türgriffarmaturen war deren gänzliche Demontage. Abgesehen davon, dass dies oft nicht oder nur mit Schwierigkeiten möglich ist, erschwert es das Öffnen der Türe und ist zeitraubend.
Die erfindungsgemässe Vorrichtung vermeidet diese Nachteile und ist hierzu gekennzeichnet durch einen Hohlzylinder, der an einem Ende offen und am anderen Ende geschlossen ist, und durch einen Haltegriff, der am geschlossenen Ende des Hohlzylinders koaxial angeordnet ist.
Beim Gebrauch wird der Hohlzylinder über den Türgriff geschoben, so dass beim Malen gegebenenfalls der Zylinder, nicht aber der Türgriff verschmiert wird. Falls erwünscht, kann dieser danach gereinigt werden.
Wird dabei mit einer Hand die Vorrichtung dicht an das Türblatt gehalten, so kann man mit der anderen Hand den Pinsel führen und die Farbe so nahe an die Abdeckplatte heranführen, als die Wandung des Hohlzylinders dick ist.
Im Folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand der Zeichnung beispielsweise erläutert. Es zeigt:

Fig. 2 ein Horizontalschnitt durch die Vorrichtung.
Ein länglicher Hohlzylinder 10 hat ein offenes Ende 12 und ein geschlossenes Ende 14. Das Ende 14 ist mit einer zentralen Bohrung versehen, durch welche sich eine Schraube 16 von der Innenseite des Zylinders in eine Gewindebohrung am Ende eines länglichen Haltegriffes 18 erstreckt. Dieser ist mit dem Zylinder axial ausgerichtet. Der Zylinder weist eine dünne Wandung auf.
Die Türe 20 hat eine Türgriffarmatur mit einem drehbaren Griff 22 und einer runden Abdeckplatte 24. Der Durchmesser der Abdeckplatte ist etwas kleiner als der In nendurehmesser des Zylinders, jedoch üblicherweise grösser als der Griff 22 selbst.
Der Zylinder 10 wird bis zum Anschlag am Türblatt über den Griff 22 und die Abdeckplatte 24 geschoben. Mittels des Haltegriffes 18 hält der Benützer die Vorrichtung in dieser Lage. Mit der anderen Hand hält er den Pinsel 26 und ist in der Lage, ohne besondere Vorsicht die Türe zu streichen, ohne dabei die Türgriffarmatur zu verschmieren.
Der Hohlzylinder 10 und der Griff 18 können aus irgend einem Material bestehen, wie z. B. Plastik oder Holz.
PATENTANSPRUCH
Vorrichtung zum Schutze von Türgriffarmaturen vor Farbspuren beim Malen, gekennzeichnet durch einen Hohlzylinder (10), der an einem Ende offen und am andern Ende geschlossen ist, und durch einen Haltegriff (18) der am geschlossenen Ende des Hohlzylinders koaxial angeordnet ist.

If doors are repainted or sprayed, there is a risk that the door handle fitting will be smeared with paint. The door handle fitting is understood to mean the door handle itself and the cover plate. The previously known effective measure against smearing of the door handle fittings was their complete disassembly. Apart from the fact that this is often impossible or only possible with difficulty, it makes opening the door difficult and time-consuming.
The device according to the invention avoids these disadvantages and is characterized for this by a hollow cylinder which is open at one end and closed at the other end, and by a handle which is arranged coaxially at the closed end of the hollow cylinder.
During use, the hollow cylinder is pushed over the door handle so that the cylinder, but not the door handle, is smeared when painting. If desired, this can be cleaned afterwards.
If the device is held close to the door leaf with one hand, the brush can be guided with the other hand and the paint applied as close to the cover plate as the wall of the hollow cylinder is thick.

An elongated hollow cylinder 10 has an open end 12 and a closed end 14. The end 14 is provided with a central bore through which a screw 16 extends from the inside of the cylinder into a threaded bore at the end of an elongated handle 18. This is axially aligned with the cylinder. The cylinder has a thin wall.
The door 20 has a door handle fitting with a rotatable handle 22 and a round cover plate 24. The diameter of the cover plate is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the cylinder, but usually larger than the handle 22 itself.
The cylinder 10 is pushed over the handle 22 and the cover plate 24 up to the stop on the door leaf. The user holds the device in this position by means of the handle 18. With the other hand he holds the brush 26 and is able to paint the door without particular caution without smearing the door handle fitting.
The hollow cylinder 10 and the handle 18 can be made of any material, such as. B. plastic or wood.
