Zieleinrichtung
Target facility
The invention relates to a target device consisting of the combination of no measuring instruments with a laser, in which the target is marked by reflecting light into the telescopic sight.
The known combinations of a laser with a surveying instrument are designed so that the laser is placed on the telescope parallel to it.
This results in the disadvantages of a parallel axis between the axis of the laser and that of the telescopic sight and an additional load on the tilt axis, which reduces the accuracy of the instrument.
The invention is based on the object of reflecting the radiation from a laser into the telescopic sight with the lowest possible losses, so that the measuring instrument can continue to be used in the usual manner and the target point can be marked with the reflected laser radiation.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the light from the laser is transmitted into the measuring instrument through a light guide in such a way that the light emerging from the laser is concentrated with a converging lens on one end face of a single-fiber light guide, the other end face of which is in the axial image point of the Telescope objective lies with which the target would be sighted.
A reticle can be attached to the telescope-side end surface of the light guide, which divides the radiating surface in such a way that the light spot is subdivided in a precisely defined way by its image at the target. The light is expediently reflected into the telescope via a selective mirror, which directs the monochromatic light of the laser with high reflectivity into the axis of the telescope, while it is transparent for the rest of the visible radiation, so that the instrument can be used for both visual occurrences as well as for the illumination of the target point is suitable in the same way.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In Fig. 1, the light emerging from the laser 1 is concentrated by the converging lens 3 on the end face 4 of the optical fiber 5 and exits again at the end face 6 and into the beam path of the telescope, which is symbolized by its objective 8, via the selective Mirror 7 a. The telescope eyepiece is designated by 13, the reticle with 12 and the target point by 9.
In Fig. 2a the flexible optical fiber 5 is shown with its sheathing 11 and the end face 6, whereupon a reticle 14 with a target 10 is attached. The front view is shown again in FIG. 2b, the cross-shaped target mark 10 dividing the cross section of the optical fiber 6 into four equal sectors.
By concentrating the light of a high-intensity light source on the end face of a single optical fiber, the light losses caused by the packing of several threads are avoided and the efficiency of the transmission is significantly increased.
The fiber structure of a multi-fiber light guide is not shown and the definition of the target point can be increased by adding a target mark.
