Additional patent to the main patent no. 446 986 Arrangement for steering a toy vehicle The invention relates to an arrangement for steering a track-bound toy vehicle that can be driven on a rail-less driving surface, the steering device of which is provided with at least one permanent magnet, each with an in or
The permanent magnet strip attached under the driving pad cooperates, which consists of a plastic or rubber embedded permanent magnet material with at least two magnetic poles running next to each other in the longitudinal direction of the entire strip, the permanent magnet provided on the steering device being provided with at least two opposing magnetic poles opposite the magnetic strip poles .
According to the main patent, the permanent magnet provided on the Lenkvorrich device is designed as a wheel running on the driving document over the permanent magnetic strip with at least two opposing magnetic poles arranged side by side over the entire circumference of the wheel.
For relatively light toy vehicles, it has been found that the permanent magnet attached to the steering device does not need to be a rotating wheel, but that good guidance of the toy vehicle on the driving surface is guaranteed even if, according to the invention, the permanent magnet attached to the steering device is parallel is formed for the driving pad and sliding plate over the permanent magnet strip.
Preferably, the permanent magnetic plate is just if strip-shaped and the same width as the permanent magnetic strip.
The permanent magnetic plate is expediently magnetized laterally in two or more poles on the side facing the driving surface.
The permanent magnetic plate can be a piece of the permanent magnetic guide strip. In this case, the permanent magnetic plate also consists of permanent magnetic material embedded in plastic or rubber, preferably a permanent magnetic oxide material. The permanent magnetic plate can also be a ceramic sintered body made of permanent magnetic ferrite material.
According to an advantageous development of the arrangement according to the invention, the permanent magnetic plate is rotatably mounted on the steering device about a vertical axis.
The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing.
1 and 2 show schematically a plan view and a longitudinal section through a toy vehicle according to the invention.
In Fig. 3, the directions of magnetization of these magnets are shown on a cross section along the line III-III of Fig. 2 through the co-operating permanent magnets.
Under a flat, thin driving pad 1 made of non-magnetic material, e.g. B. made of wood, cardboard or plastic, is a rectangular cross-section elastic shear permanent magnet strip 2 in any lanes, z. B. by gluing or clamping attached. The elastic strip 2 consists of permanent material embedded in plastic or in rubber, in particular barium or strontium hexaferrite.
This permanent magnetic strip 2 serves as an invisible track for a run on the driving pad 1 of the, any drivable toy vehicle, the steering device with a parallel to the driving pad 1 and sliding over the permanent magnet strip 2, permanent magnetic plate 3 is provided. This plate 3 is preferably made of the same material as the permanent magnetic strip 2; it can be a part of this streak.
The plate 3 and the permanent magnet strip 2 each have two magnetic poles running in the longitudinal direction of the entire permanent magnet strip 2 or the plate 3 on their side facing the driving surface 1, which are created by a two-pole lateral magnetization.
The opposing magnetic poles of the plate 3 and the permanent magnetic strip 2 have a different magnetization, so that the plate 3 is attracted by the permanent magnetic strip 2 and guided along the strip path (Fig. 3). With three-pole or multi-pole, odd-numbered magnetization, the advantage arises that the vehicle can also run in the opposite direction.
The toy vehicle consists essentially of a vehicle body 4 with drivable rear wheels 5. The front wheels 6 are attached to a steering device 7 which is connected to the permanent magnetic plate 3 via a rod 8. The permanent magnetic plate, 3 is mounted on the rod 8 about a vertical axis 9 rotatably bar. The rod 8 is guided in a stone 10 and this in turn is guided through a link 11.
When the permanent magnetic plate 3 slides over the permanent magnet strip 2 on the driving pad 1, along the plate 3, the axle 9, the rod 8, the steering device 7 and the front wheels 6 the toy vehicle according to the curved path of the permanent magnet strip 2 steered.
