Piston valve The present invention is a piston valve. Embodiments of the subject matter of the invention who then explained with reference to the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the valve in front view.
Fig. 2 shows another embodiment of the valve in front view.
3 is a section through the valve according to FIG. 2, parallel to the plane of the drawing.
In Fig. 1, 1 is the valve body, 2 and 3 are the two connecting pieces of the valve and 4 is a rotary handle for operating the valve.
In Fig. 2, 5 is the valve body and 6 and 7 are the two connecting pieces.
The designs according to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 differ in principle only in the position of the connecting pieces 3, respectively. 7. In Figure 3, the valve body 5 has inside a cylindrical bore 8, which consists of two different diameter steps 9, respectively. 10, which are connected to a conical transition 11. In the bore 8 there is the piston 12, which is axially displaceable therein and in turn also has two diameter steps 13, respectively. 14 has.
On both diameter levels 13 respectively. 14 of the piston 12 is located in an annular groove 15, respectively. 16 an endless rubber-elastic piston ring 17, respectively. 18. The grooves 15, respectively. 16 and the piston rings 17, respectively. 18 are dimensioned so that in the illustrated position of the piston, the piston rings 17, respectively. 18 through the cylinder wall of the diameter steps 9 respectively. 10 are slightly deformed and thereby the piston ring 18, which is used instead of a stuffing box, to the outside, and the piston ring 17 seals between the two connecting pieces 6 and 7.
If the piston 12 is moved upwards from its position shown in FIG. 3 by turning the handle 4, which is fixedly connected to the valve spindle 19 in a suitable manner, the contact between the piston ring 17 and the cylinder stage 10 is interrupted and between the Connection pieces 6 and 7, the flow path, depending on the position of the piston 12, more or less released. In contrast, the piston ring 18 remains in uninterrupted contact with the wall of the bore of the diameter step 9 in every position of the piston 12 in the bore 8, i. permanently seals to the outside.
The conical passage 11 between the diameter steps 9 and 10 of the bore 8 enables when the valve is closed, i.e. when the piston 12 moves downwards, a progressive, gentle deformation of the piston ring 17.
The valve spindle 19 has a spherical head at its lower end and its middle part is designed as a threaded bolt 21. This part 21 of the spindle 19 fits into the corresponding part 22 of the valve body 5, designed as a threaded hole. The piston 12 is provided with a transverse bore 24 at its upper end with a slot 23 and below, but connected to it. The lower part of the spindle 19 with the spherical head 20 can outside of the Ventilkör pers 5 laterally in the slot 23, respectively. Transverse bore 24 of the piston 12 can be pushed.
As a result, the spindle 19 on the one hand and the piston 12 on the other hand are connected to one another in such a way that an axial movement of the spindle 19 in the valve body 5 is transmitted in both directions to the piston 12 without the piston having to take part in the rotational movement of the spindle, since the lower end of the spindle 19 freely in the slot 23, respectively. Transverse bore 24 of the piston 12 can rotate. This fact is of great importance for protecting the piston rings 17 and 18.
The spring ring 25 in the annular groove 26 at the upper end of the valve body 5 serves to limit the piston respectively. Spindle travel upwards.
