Die Erfindung wird anhand der Zeichnung beispiels weise näher beschrieben. In oder Zeichnung zeigen: Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt durch die Mittelachse der Miniatur-Vakuumkontaktanordnung nach der Erfin dung; die Ebene des Schnittes verläuft entlang der Linie 1-1 in Fig. 3; Fig. 2 einen weiteren Längsschnitt entlang der Linie 2-2 in Fig. 3; - Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht irr Richtung des Pfeiles 3 in Fig. 1;

Miniature vacuum contact arrangement The present invention relates to a miniature vacuum contact arrangement in which the contacts are accommodated in a housing which consists of two axially aligned, dielectric tubes.
Known vacuum switches or vacuum relays usually use an electromagnetic Actuate transmission mechanism, which normally forms an integral part of the switching arrangement. This means that the whole mechanism turns out to be comparatively large, and at least in those cases in which it is operated by electromagnetic means it is necessary to
that the magnetic field penetrates the wall of the envelope, which puts certain restrictions on the construction. he give. One purpose or invention is therefore to separate: the operating mechanism for integral parts of the switch assembly, which allows miniaturization of relays or switches.
In known vacuum contacts, the moving contact parts are usually stored within a housing or an envelope, which causes wear as a result of the friction generated at the bearing points, which: can impair the proper functioning of the Kontak th.
In addition, these bearings can be attacked by acid formation within the housing and also represent undesirable attachment surfaces for vaporized contact metal.
A further purpose of the invention is therefore to provide a contact arrangement in which the contacts are in a housing and can be moved by an actuating device which is located as a separate unit outside the housing.
In known vacuum switches and relays, in which the actuating mechanism is not a separate but an integral part of the switch itself, there is a need to adjust the switch or the relay before the housing is degassed. This degassing of the housing requires the use of considerable heat, which often results in a displacement of the aligned parts, namely due to the deformation of the metal and the material forming the housing, which is preferably glass.
A further purpose of the invention is therefore to provide a contact arrangement in which the setting or adjustment, if necessary, can be carried out after degassing, by simply adjusting the position of the actuating mechanism with respect to the contact arrangement.
It is also, with known vacuum relays and switches, which one. Use electromagnetic actuation mechanism which forms part of the housing, usually necessary for the magnetic lines of force to penetrate the wall of the housing. This construction leads to certain magnetic losses in the magnetic circuit, whereby the effectiveness of the electromagnetic operating mechanism is impaired.
Therefore, a further purpose of the invention is to provide a miniature vacuum contact arrangement for which the actuating mechanism is a separate unit with its own magnetic circuit in order to avoid the aforementioned loss of effectiveness of the actuating mechanism.
As mentioned, the invention is based on the object of creating a vacuum contact arrangement in which the above-mentioned disadvantages are avoided. and which is also easy and cheap to manufacture.
According to the invention, this is achieved by creating a miniature vacuum contact arrangement in which the contacts are accommodated in a housing, which consists of two axially aligned, dielectric tubes, which are closed at their facing ends by metal end plates, soft with the tubes are hermetically connected.
According to the invention, this vacuum contact arrangement is characterized in that a small tube is fastened in one of the end plates, which protrudes into the housing with one open end and forms a first fixed contact. The other end plate also consists of a flexible membrane an annular metallic intermediate electrode is present, which has an outer edge which is hermetically connected to the ends of the two housing tubes adjacent to each other, and has an inner edge part,
which forms a second fixed electrode within the housing and that a contact rod is movably attached to said membrane and extends through the annular intermediate electrode, where in the inner end of this rod forms a contact, which with the tube forming the first fixed contact cooperates and an intermediate part of the rod forms a contact which cooperates with the intermediate electrode.
The inner edge part of the intermediate electrode is preferably bent over 90 in the axial direction of the said rod relative to the plane of the intermediate electrode, so that it forms a contact and shielding part at the same time, which is connected to another contact formed by a bend of the contact rod area cooperates.
Furthermore, the upper and lower end plates and also the central electrode are expediently provided with a radially outwardly projecting lug.
The previously defined miniature vacuum contact arrangement achieves various advantages, which are based in particular on the fact that the contact arrangement represents an extraordinarily simple and inexpensive changeover switch.
The invention is described in more detail, for example, with reference to the drawing. In or drawing: Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the central axis of the miniature vacuum contact arrangement according to the invention; the plane of the section is along the line 1-1 in Fig. 3; FIG. 2 shows a further longitudinal section along the line 2-2 in FIG. 3; FIG. 3 is a plan view in the direction of arrow 3 in FIG. 1;
4 shows a view of the vacuum contact arrangement from below in the direction of arrow 4 in FIG.
The miniature vacuum contact arrangement according to the invention contains two axially arranged elongated, dielectric tubes 2 and 3, preferably made of ceramic, the facing ends 4 and 5 of which are provided with vapor-deposited metal and are metically connected to conductive, metal end plates 6 and 7 by brazing . The end plate 6 has an inwardly projecting, annular flange 8, which forms a short, rigid, cylindrical part 9 which is hermetically brazed to the outer surface of a tube 12.
The inner open end 13 of the tube 12 extends into the housing, while the outer end is squeezed together as shown in order to hermetically seal the housing.
The end plate 6 also has a radially outwardly projecting connection lug 16 provided with an opening to which a power source can be connected via an electrical conductor. The end plate 6 is preferably made of relatively inflexible copper about 0.8 mm (0.030 ") thick, while the end plate 7 is preferably made of a relatively thinner and more flexible material on the order of about 0.13 mm (0.005") ") Thickness exists.
The end plate 7 is thereby given a sufficiently high flexibility to allow a contact rod 17 projecting in the longitudinal direction into the housing to move transversely about this pivot point. The contact rod 17 is provided with a contact end 18 which protrudes into the inner; of the tube 12, while the contact rod 17 near its outer end 19 penetrates a central opening of the flexible end plate 7 and is hermetically soldered to it. The contact rod 17 is preferably made of tungsten, while the membrane or the flexible end plate 7 is preferably made of a heat-resistant, but electrically conductive material, such as.
B. an alloy of nickel, copper, iron and magnesium, which is sold under the trademark Monel, consists. The end plate 6 and the tube 12 attached to it are preferably made of copper. The membrane or the end plate 7 is also connected to a radially outwardly projecting terminal lug 21 for connection to a circuit, which rests on the end plate 7 with a ring corresponding to the diameter of the housing and is soldered to it.
In the case of the switchover contact shown in the drawing, the oppositely directed end faces 27 and 28 of the dielectric tubes 2 and 3 are provided with vapor-deposited metal in order to create a hermetic connection with a center electrode 29 which is located between the metallized end faces 27 and 28 is hard soldered.
The center electrode 29 is preferably ring-shaped and is provided in its center with a cylindrical contact and shielding part 31, which encompasses the buttoned contact part of the contact rod 17, which represents a contact surface 32 that joins the cylindrical contact and shielding part 31 is working.
The terminal lug 21, which is either a part of the membrane 7 or - as .represented - separated, soldered on part: forms the common connection for the normally closed contact 12, 18 and: the normally open contact 31, 32. The Inner sides of the tube 12 and the shielding part 31 act as spark shields in order to prevent vaporized contact metal from accumulating on the inner wall of the dielectric tubes 2 and 3.
As can be seen, a slight transverse movement of the contact rod 17 outside the housing in the direction of the double arrow in FIG. 1 already causes a relatively large movement within the housing, which applies the movable union contacts 18, 32 to the corresponding fixed contacts 31, 12.
