Electrical connection strip The invention relates to an electrical connection strip which has a strip body made of insulating material with cutouts extending from the side carrying the contacts to the opposite side between the contacts assigned to one another.
In a known terminal block of this type, the contact carriers and the conductor rails are cast. The connection lugs for the busbars are passed through the rail and angled towards the cutouts so that the connections between the lugs and the busbars can be made from the front of the bar through the cutouts. The advantage of this bar is the small amount of space it requires, but its manufacture is relatively difficult and expensive.
The invention is based on the object of creating a connection strip which likewise requires very little space, in particular also in the longitudinal direction, but which is simple and cheap to manufacture. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the bar is designed as a U-profile rail with web parts which are arranged at a distance from one another, carry the contacts and are integral with the side parts.
The production of such a rail, pressed from an insulating material, is very cheap because of its simple shape. Preferably: the contacts are releasably attached to the web parts, whereby the production of the rail is even more simplified and cheaper. As a result of the releasable fastening of the contacts on the web parts, it is also possible to use the rail as a basic component for various types of connection strips.
In order to achieve the smallest possible overall width with a lateral connection of the down conductors, in particular with a direct cable connection resulting in a very short construction, at least one constriction that reduces the rail width on part of the rail length can be provided.
Instead of a single constriction serving for all connections, which can also accommodate these when connecting down conductor rails, separate constrictions can be provided for each lateral connection.
The derivatives of different phases can be on different sides of the bar, e.g. for the top phase on the left, for the middle phase on the right and for the lower phase on the top. However, it is more advantageous to place the two lateral connections on one side. You can then make the connections without being hindered by the possibly adjacent bar.
In particular, if the busbars are guided behind the bar, it is possible in this way to install additional bars in the distribution system while observing the safety regulations, even if the existing connections are live.
The drawing shows three exemplary embodiments of a terminal strip according to the invention. 1 shows a plan view of a first embodiment, FIG. 2 shows a side view of this embodiment, FIG. 3 shows a plan view of a second embodiment, FIG. 4 shows a side view of the embodiment according to FIG. 3, FIG. 5 shows a plan view of a third Embodiment,
6 shows a side view of the embodiment according to FIG. 5, and FIG. 7 shows a section along line VII-VII in FIG.
A rail 1 with a U-shaped profile and pressed from plastic consists of two parallel side parts 2 and spaced apart web parts 3 on which contacts 4 and 5 are alternately fastened by means of screws.
The contacts 4 have Z-shaped connection lugs 6 which, as FIGS. 1 and 2 show, are guided through the gaps 7 between two adjacent web parts 3 to the busbars 8 lying behind the bar transversely to the longitudinal direction of the bar. The connection between
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Terminal lug and busbar are possible through the gap 7 from the front of the bar.
In the area of the contacts 5 of the middle and upper phase, the rail has lateral constrictions 9, in which one part of the connecting lugs 10 of the contacts 5 of the middle and upper phase are formed as an angle. In the exemplary embodiment, the connection points for the discharge cables 11 and 12 to be connected to these two phases are on the same side. However, it is also possible to provide the connection of the cables 11 and 12 on different sides. The connection lug 10 'of the lowermost contact 5 is guided in the longitudinal direction of the bar beyond its lower end.
The second exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 has a rail 21 designed in the same way as the rail 1 of the first exemplary embodiment. The arrangement and design of the contacts 24 and 25 and the connection lugs 26 is also the same as in the first exemplary embodiment. The difference is that the connection points of the connection lugs 30 are on different sides of the bar and that discharge rails 31 and 32 are connected to these connection lugs and are arranged on edge next to the rail 21. The rails 31 and 32 are not insulated.
But they could also be provided with an insulating coating in the phase colors or covered by a U-shaped insulating part that is attached to the rail 21.
Of course, the two discharge rails 31 and 32 can also be on the same side. They then have to be guided either one above the other or side by side.
The rail 41 provided in the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 to 7 is also designed in the same way as the rails of the other exemplary embodiments. The contacts 44 provided for connection to the busbars, which are arranged transversely to the longitudinal direction of the circuit strip behind the latter, are provided with connection lugs 46, the middle part of which rests on the outside of a side part 42 of the rail 41. In this embodiment, discharge rails 51 and 52, which are spaced one above the other between the side parts 42, are led to the contacts 45 of the upper and middle phase.
Its free end and the terminal lug 53 of the contact 45 of the lowest phase protrude in a staggered manner beyond the lower end of the rail 41. In the exemplary embodiment, the connection points of the connection lugs 46 are provided on the left-hand side of the bar. Of course, they can also be on the right side or alternately offset. The contacts 44 only need to be attached to the rail 41 in a laterally reversed manner.
