Description

Ko nus, was zu.

      die     Federn.    der     bekannten        Klemme        weg-          zulassen    und     das        öffnen    der Backen     zwangsläufig        her-          beizuführen,    wobei eine     Weiterausbildung    der     Erfindung          vorsieht;

In diesen Schlitzen

Ball contact clamp The invention relates to a ball contact clamp with two jaws pivotable around a bolt like pliers and with a cone which is adjustable perpendicular to the axis of the bolt along a spindle and on which the rear ends of the jaws slide.

In such a known clamp, the cone is round and has an internal thread with which the cone can be screwed onto the spindle.

Because of the round shape of this cone, the rear ends lie on the jaws. only punctiformly on the cone, so that the pressure between the rear end of the jaws and the cone is very high, which leads to severe wear on the cone surface.

Also, the rear ends of the jaws must slide over a long way, namely along a spiral, on the cone,

in order to achieve a slight spreading of the jaws. For this long distance, therefore, a great deal of force must be expended in order to overcome the friction between the rear ends of the jaws and the cone.

The invention is based on the object of avoiding the disadvantages of the known Kugelkontaktxlämnne, for which it is proposed according to the invention that the cone has the shape of a wedge,

which is adapted in width to the rear ends of the jaws, and that the wedge slides with little play on the spindle in the longitudinal direction and is rotatably connected to a screw sleeve guided on the spindle.

This design results in a useful linear contact between the rear ends of the jaws and the. Ko nus what to.

less pressure between these parts. The wedge is only moved in a longitudinal direction of the spindle so that the rear ends of the jaws only cover a short, straight path on the wedge.

The advance of the wedge is brought about by the screw sleeve rotatably connected to 'hm.

In order to achieve an automatic opening of the jaws when screwing back the cone of the known clamp, springs are provided in the clamp.

which push the jaws apart. Because of the rotational movement of the cone, an inevitable guidance of the rear ends of the jaws on the cone is also not possible.

If, on the other hand, according to the invention, a wedge that only moves in the longitudinal direction is used, it is possible

      the feathers. omit the known clamp and inevitably bring about the opening of the jaws, a further development of the invention provides;

that the jaws have laterally protruding pins at the rear ends and that the pin-receiving slots are made on the sides of the kefl. In these slots

the pins of the rear ends of the jaws are inevitably guided on the wedge.

Preferably the slots are through to the. Sides of the wedge attached, bent sheets formed. Exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing,

1 is a longitudinal section through a ball contact clamp with an open one.

Jaws, FIG. 2 a side view of the ball contact terminal according to FIG. 1, attached to a ball head, FIG. 3 a front view of another embodiment of the ball contact terminal,

attached to a ball head, and FIG. 4 shows a cross section along the line IV-IV in FIG. 3. The clamp according to FIGS. 1 and 2 is used for attachment to the RTI ID = "0001.0254" WI = "16" HE = "4" LX = "1321" LY = "2149"> ball head 1.

The clamp consists of two jaws. 2 and 3 that are around the bolt. 4 are pivotable like pliers. A spindle 5, on which the push-on sleeve 6 is guided, extends from the bolt.

The wedge 7, which surrounds the spindle 5 with little play, is attached to the screw sleeve 6 by means of a collar.

rotatably attached. The width of the wedge 7 corresponds to the support width of the rear ends 8 and 9 of the jaws 2 and 3 (Fig. 2).

The clamp according to FIGS. 3 and 4 is: attached in the same way to the ball head 1 and consists of the two jaws 2 and 3 pivotable about the bolt 4.

A screw sleeve 6 is also guided on the spindle 5, to which the wedge 7 is rotatably attached, on which the rear ends 8 and 9 of the jaws 2 and 3 slide. At the rear ends 8 u. 9 of the jaws 2 u. 3 laterally protruding pins 11, 12, 13 and 14 are introduced.

On the sides of the key 7, bent sheets 15 and 16 adapted to the shape of the wedge are fastened by means of rivets 17 and 18.

The bent parts of the metal sheets result in slots that run parallel to the wedge surface and in which the pins 11, 12, 13 and 14 slide.

When the wedge 7 is moved downwards, the pins 11, 12, 13 and 14 inevitably slide on the bent parts of the sheets 15 and 16, whereby the rear ends 8 and 9 of the jaws 2 and 3 are moved towards one another and thus the jaws 2 and 3 Release ball head 1.
