Device for conveying manure, consisting of one horizontal and one
Elevator conveyors that are both driven by a common motor
The invention relates to a device for conveying manure, which consists of a horizontal and an elevated conveyor, both of which are driven by a common motor. The invention is based on the object of designing a device of this type as expediently and stably as possible.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that a shaft which is directly connected to the motor is provided for driving the elevator, which is connected to a second shaft which is provided for driving the horizontal conveyor and which extends at least over the entire width of the horizontal conveyor, and that the speeds of the two shafts are coordinated so that the high conveyor and the horizontal conveyor match the cycle.
Because the shaft for the elevator is directly connected to the motor, a motor with a higher speed can be used without the use of special gear ratios, since higher speeds are required to drive the elevator. When this drive shaft of the elevator is coupled to the drive shaft of the horizontal conveyor, the speed for the horizontal conveyor can be reduced so that each conveyor stroke of the horizontal conveyor corresponds to a conveyor stroke of the elevator extending over the entire length of the elevator, or in other words that both conveyors are in Clock match without a special transmission gear being required.
Since relatively high forces occur with the horizontal conveyor, as it can be very long depending on the length of the stall, the fact that the shaft of the horizontal conveyor extends at least over its entire width ensures that the shaft can be stored in a stable manner.
According to a further development of the invention, a chain is provided for driving the elevator, which, by means of a connecting rod, engages a carriage guided by rails, with which a rake is pivotably connected. Known elevators of this type use two chains for this purpose. However, this has the disadvantage that the rake can be tilted when tensioning the chain. Using only one chain avoids this disadvantage. The use of a carriage guided in rails, which is connected to the chain by means of a connecting rod and carries the pivotable rake, a very advantageous and expedient connection of this one chain with the rake is achieved, in which no jamming or the like. Can occur.
In an embodiment with a horizontal conveyor which has a push rod which is connected via a connecting rod to a revolving chain driven by the assigned drive shaft, a further embodiment of the invention provides that the connecting rod is provided by means of a tab extending through a slot in the conveyor channel wall is connected to the push rod. This creates the possibility of arranging the chain and the connecting rod outside of the manure conveyor trough so that the chain is not contaminated by the manure and no malfunctions can occur during operation.
The invention is explained in detail in the following description of an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.
Show it:
1 shows a schematically simplified representation of the drive of the horizontal and high conveyor,
Fig. 2 is a perspective view of the connection of the chain of the elevator with the rake of the elevator.
The device for conveying manure shown in the drawing consists of a horizontal conveyor 1 and an upward conveyor 2 at an angle. Both of these conveyors are driven by a common motor 3 which is connected to a shaft 5 by means of a drive belt 4.
In the vicinity of one end, the shaft 5 carries the drive belt wheel 6 for the belt 4 and a chain wheel 7 for an endless chain 9 deflected by a deflection roller 8 at the upper end of the elevator.
At the end of the shaft 5 facing away from the chain wheel 7, another chain wheel 11 is arranged for a chain 12, which drives a chain wheel 13 on one end of a shaft 14 that extends more than the entire width of the horizontal conveyor 1. The shaft 14 is stably mounted in bearings 15 near its two ends and at the end facing away from the drive belt pulley 13 carries a sprocket 16 for a chain 18 deflected around a pulley 17, which is connected to a bracket 20 by means of a connecting rod 19. The tab 20 engages through a longitudinal slot extending along a conveyor channel 21 of the horizontal conveyor into the interior of the channel 21 and is there connected to the push rod 22 of a push rod conveyor known per se.
The tab 20 makes it possible for the chain 18 and the connecting rod 19 to be located outside of the conveyor trough 21 and thereby not be contaminated during operation.
The chain wheel 11 on the shaft 5 has a smaller diameter than the chain wheel 13 on the shaft 14, so that it is achieved that the shaft 14 rotates at a lower speed than the shaft 5.
The chain 9 of the elevator is connected by means of a connecting rod 23 to a carriage 24 which engages with rollers 25 in two rails 26 which face one another with their openings and is formed by U-shaped profiles, and is thereby guided by these rails. A rake 28 is connected to the carriage 24 so that it can pivot about a horizontal axis 27.
If the device is only to be used for horizontal conveying, then the motor 3 can be connected directly to the second shaft 14 for driving the horizontal conveyor 1. It is also possible to use a rake for upward conveyance, which is connected to the horizontal push rod 22 and gradually conveys the manure upwards.
