Iron core for three-phase choke coil The invention relates to an iron core for a three-phase choke coil with radially laminated legs (columns).
In the known designs, the yokes are designed in the shape of glasses so that they have three openings into which the legs protrude. They are also made in two parts so that horizontal press bolts can be passed through the resulting slots. The yoke plate halves are thus pressed against the end packages of the columns. This design is cumbersome and therefore expensive. But it has the advantage of a good flux transition from the radial core into the yoke.
In order to simplify this design without worsening the flow transition, it is proposed according to the invention that the yoke parts are laminated in parallel in the direction of the column axis and consist of two parallel plate parts separated by a slot, through which flat bolts for screwing together with the column go through, and that the ends of the yoke parts are extended beyond the winding circumference and that the two plate parts are held together by bolts arranged in this extension. Figures 1 to 3 show elevation, plan and side elevation of an example of this arrangement.
Of the three columns, two show the windings and one has the windings removed. The radially laminated column is denoted by 1. 2 are the spacers between the individual column parts for the separation of the air gaps. With 3 the winding is designated. The yokes 4 are now placed on these pillars. They are in two parts and have a slot in the middle. The bolt 7 is pushed through this slot. He holds the yoke and the pillars together. The yokes are extended so far over the pillars that bolts 10 can be passed through.
In a known manner, the cross members 8 and the clamping devices 9 are also provided, which serve to press the yokes against the columns. In order to be able to absorb the leakage flux from the windings, spreading webs 5 are arranged over the entire length of the iron core made of packets of vertical metal sheets. They also serve to accommodate the bolts 10.
The five-leg design is also possible with this version. In this case, the yokes above and below must be extended even further in the longitudinal axis. A return yoke that is laminated in parallel is then arranged between the upper and lower yoke.
The advantage of the arrangement is a substantial reduction in price while largely maintaining the good flow passage from the leg to the yoke.
