Description
Textilzwirnmaschine
Fig. 1 einen Aufriss des Speisezylinderaufbaues der Textilzwirnmaschine mit nur einem Zylinder, der richtig bewickelt ist;
Fig. 2 einen Grundriss zu Fig. 1 ;
Textile twisting machine
The present invention relates to a textile twisting machine with a feed cylinder around which a strand of the threads to be twisted is wound before it reaches the twisting unit.
It is the object of this invention to provide means by which the feed cylinder assembly and spindle are prevented from starting before the feed yarns are properly wrapped around the feed cylinder (s). (A feed cylinder assembly can have a single feed cylinder around which the combined yarns are wound in the desired number of turns, or two or three or more feed cylinders with the combined yarns inserted at one or more points between the contacting surfaces.)
The above-mentioned textile twisting machine according to the invention is characterized by a swivel member with two yarn guides, each of which takes a strand turn around the feed cylinder, and by a member that can be moved into a position in which it prevents the feed cylinder from turning locked, the whole thing like that,
that when the strand is correctly wound, the swivel element is held in a position in which the locking member is ineffective, while in the case of incorrect wrapping of the strand around the feed cylinder, the swivel element comes into an operative position in which it actuates the member to lock the feed cylinder.
The machine can advantageously have a yarn catcher for each spindle which, when attempting to start a spindle without the strand being wound around the feed cylinder, catches the strand and prevents it from being fed to the rotor.
The way in which the invention can be put to practical use is illustrated below with reference to the drawing using exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention. Show it:
Fig. 1 is an elevational view of the feed cylinder structure of the textile twisting machine with only one cylinder properly wound;
FIG. 2 shows a plan of FIG. 1;
3, 3a and 4 a view similar to FIGS. 1 and 2 with the position of the parts when the cylinder is incorrectly wound, and
Fig. 5 and 6 side elevations of the yarn catcher in its inoperative and operative position, respectively.
In the drawings, 10, 10 denote guide members which are parts of the thread monitors which sense the tension of the feed yarns A, B, C and D on their way from the creel (not shown) to the feed cylinder 11.
It is essential that the strand of the brought together feed yarns A, B, C and D is wound around the circumference of the cylinder 11 twice. To ensure that the operator of the machine does not overlook this condition when applying the yarns in preparation for start-up, a pair of axially spaced apart grooved rollers 12, 13 are mounted on a common axis 14, which is supported by a balanced member 15 or a lever with a counterweight is carried on the side of the feed cylinder 11, the arrangement being such that one turn E of the yarn is guided around the roller 12 and the second turn F around the roller 13.
On a mandrel 16, which is attached to the axis 14 between the rollers 12 and 13, a double-armed yarn guide 17 or a pivot member is pivotably mounted, each arm of the guide is arranged so that it turns a turn of the yarns around a the rollers 12, 13 is running, recorded. If the yarns are properly wound, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, then the tension in the two turns E and F holds the yarn guide 17 in a balanced central position and the balanced member 15 is pressed against a limit stop 18. However, if the yarns are passed around the feed cylinder 11 only once, so that only one arm of the yarn guide 17 is stressed, then the balanced state is canceled and the link 15 comes into an operative position in which the part 151 has a braking effect on the feed cylinder 11, to prevent the cylinder from rotating.
This position of the member 15 and the part 151 is shown in FIG. 3a, according to which the part 151 rests against the flange-like extension of the cylinder 11 in its braking position.
As FIGS. 2 and 4 show, the feed cylinder 11 in FIG. 2 has a different position for the balanced central position of the link 15 than in FIG. 4 for the active position of the link 15. The displacement of the cylinder 11 from the position of FIG. 2 in the position of FIG. 4, in which the cylinder 11 is uncoupled from the drive, takes place by means not shown, which are actuated in a manner not shown by the member 15 during the transition into its operative position, so that the cylinder is still before it is decelerated is released by the part 151 from the drive.
To ensure that the yarns fed to the traveler are intercepted if the operator of the machine fails to guide the yarns twice around the feed cylinder 11, the machine is provided with a helically wound spring 19 which forms a circular or partially circular loop and means of an arm 20 is held in a position in which the yarns A, B, C, D are intercepted by the spring 19 when they run on a direct route from the individual stop monitors 10, 10 to an eyelet 21 which is part of a monitor is that monitors the tension of the strand of yarn between the feed cylinder 11 and the traveler.
As can be seen from Fig. 5, the path of the yarns A, B, C and D, if they are properly guided around the feed cylinder 11, does not touch the catch spring 19, but if an attempt is made to start the spindle before the yarns around the feed cylinder are wound, as can be seen from FIG. 6, the yarns are captured by the spring 19 and prevented from being fed to the traveler. The catch spring 19 can be mounted so that it can be pivoted into the inoperative position in order to facilitate access to the feed cylinder 11 for winding the yarns.
