Description

Top cover for cotton cards The present invention relates to a top cover for cotton cards.

So far, the top coverings for cards have consistently only been provided with one type of equipment, so that there was only one lane width between the needles or teeth on the entire cover.

Depending on the material to be processed, coverings with either fine or coarse tipping were then applied.

The subject matter of the present invention is a cover covering for cotton cards, which is characterized in that it has a set of items which has at least two different aisle widths perpendicular to the carding direction.

In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of a card end covering is shown. 1 shows the needle side or the working side of the loading, and FIG. 2 shows a section along the line 11-II of FIG.

In the drawing, 1 denotes the scratch fabric pad that holds the cutlery. Any material that has already proven itself for this purpose can be used for this base. The set consists in a known manner of U-shaped wire brackets 2, each of which forms two needles of the set. These stirrups are now arranged in such a way that two different aisle widths a and b are present perpendicular to the carding direction P.

When pulling through, the material to be carded is first processed by the equipment with the larger aisle width n, which extends over a zone x of the covering, and immediately afterwards by the equipment with the smaller aisle width b, which extends over the zone y of the covering .

There can also be more than two different gas widths on a cover covering. The individual brackets can be made of round iron wire, convex wire, flat wire, semi-flat wire, dreikan term or sheet-shaped wire with surface, needle grinding, etc. exist.
