Drive device on motor vehicles The present invention relates to a drive device on motor vehicles such as e.g. B. tractors, in which it is common to create an additional power take-off device in addition to the Mo tor and the transmission in order to be able to drive auxiliary devices.
It is common practice to provide such vehicles with a number of gear ratios, including special gear ratios for never more speeds that can be used as desired, e.g. B. on difficult Ge terrain or to drive certain auxiliary devices.
In English patent no. 699956 a power transmission device for motor vehicles (in particular special for tractors) is described, in which an additional power take-off device in connection with the input shaft of a planetary gear of the preselector type is present.
One purpose of the present invention is to provide a drive device which has a relatively large number of gear ratios which do not overlap.
The present invention relates to a drive device on motor vehicles, which has a hydraulic clutch connected to an engine and a multi-speed planetary gear with power take-off means, and an additional planetary gear unit with overdrive, which is arranged between the engine and the multi-speed planetary gear, the input shaft this additional unit is connected to the driven member of the hy draulic clutch, while the output shaft is connected to the multi-speed planetary gear.
The hydraulic clutch is preferably a turbo clutch, which forms the flywheel of the engine, and the planetary gear can be provided with brake drums and bands, in addition to the use of pairs of self-tensioning bands in such an arrangement that they move in opposite directions Take on braking loads, the gears can be composed in such a way that the speeds of the planetary gears are kept relatively low, which means that low wear and tear and noiselessness are achieved.
In the accompanying drawing, an example embodiment of a drive device according to the present invention, which example can be used in a tractor, is shown schematically.
A multi-speed planetary gear D with coaxial input and output shafts has an output shaft 1 which is connected in a suitable manner to the main drive (not provided).
In front of this transmission D, a two-speed planetary gear C is arranged, which has a high speed gear and whose output shaft 5 is connected to the input shaft 7 of the planetary gear D.
The input shaft 9 of the two-speed planetary gear set C is connected to the driven member 11 of a fluid coupling B, the driving member 13 of which is connected to a motor A.
A PTO shaft 3 is driven by the input shaft 9 of the two-speed planetary gear or the output shaft of the clutch B in order to drive auxiliary devices (not presented).
In the multi-speed planetary gearbox D and in the two-speed planetary gearbox C, sun gears are generally denoted by 15, planet gears are marked with 17, ring gears with 19, clutches with 21 and band brakes that control indirect translations, with 23. The overdrive of the two-speed transmission unit C. is set by a band brake device 23, which can set the sun gear 15 of the transmission C fixed, while a direct drive of the Pla designated gear D via the unit C by means of a clutch 21 is set.
The band brake devices, which control the sun gears 15 both in the planetary gear D and in the gear C, are preferably operated by a hydraulically or pneumatically operated servomechanism, a control device for this mechanism triggering two movements for a gear change if necessary, namely a movement in the planetary gear D and a movement in the two-speed transmission unit C, this movement preferably being achieved by a single movement of a control lever.
With the two-speed gear unit C, the number of gear ratios of the transmission can be doubled by choosing the gear ratios so that there is no overlap in the entire range of the entire gear ratios.
The control device for the planetary gear D and the two-speed transmission unit C are preferably arranged so that the movement of a single control lever controls both the transmission and the two-speed transmission unit by z. B. ensures that a lateral movement of the control lever controls a servomechanism for the two-speed transmission unit, while an axial movement of the control lever controls a servomechanism for the D Pla designated transmission. The two-speed transmission unit C creates a suitable and easy-to-operate, additional device for doubling the number of transmission ratios of a normal planetary gear. So z.
For example, a series of ten gear ratios can be achieved with a five-speed planetary gear without the gear ratios overlapping.
