Fig. 1 zeigt den Lüftungsschieber vom Raum innern gesehen in Ansicht in geschlossener Stellung.
Adjustable air passage device, in particular for ventilation purposes Adjustable air passage devices are used, for example, to allow outside air to enter an interior space. It can be fixed interiors or interiors of vehicles. Such devices are known in the form of ventilation slides or ventilation rosettes. Such ventilation devices have so far consisted essentially of only two parts, namely a member provided with passage openings, which was movable in front of or behind a fixed member also provided with passage openings.
The movable member was either a longitudinal slide or a rotatable circular plate. In the known ventilation slide, the fixed cover strip or cover frame and the slide were provided with the same size, preferably rectangular, passage openings. The webs located between the openings had the same width as the passage openings. As a result, the maximum air passage was only 50% of the overall size. Apart from the other shape of the passage openings, the same conditions existed in the known ventilation rosette.
The invention now relates to the solution to the task to enlarge the air passage. The inven tion according to the solution is characterized in that the passage openings in the stationary member in the direction of movement of the in front of or behind this member, movable and also provided with passage openings means are larger than the webs located between the passage openings, and that at least two movable means , members provided with passage openings are provided which move relative to one another.
In this way it is possible to increase the air passage to about 66 1 / a when using two movable members. A further increase is possible if more than two movable links are provided.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the inventive concept is shown in the form of a ventilation slider.
Fig. 1 shows the ventilation slide seen from the inside of the room in a view in the closed position. FIG. 2 shows a cross section along the line 11-II in FIG.
3 and 4 show a central longitudinal section through the device of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 showing the fully open, FIG. 4 showing the fully closed position.
5 shows the design of the handle for another embodiment.
The ventilation slide, which can be any length ausgebil det and of which only a piece is shown in the drawing, consists of the cover plate or the cover frame 1 and the behind it angeord designated slides 2 and 3, which have the shape of rectangular strips of sheet metal or a otherwise suitable material. The cover frame 1 is provided with holes 4 for its attachment, in the gezeich designated example it has above and below in cross-section U-shaped edges 1 ', in which the two slides 2, 3 are guided.
The cover frame 1 is provided with approximately rectangular passage openings 5, between which the webs 6 are located. The openings 5 have a greater width, measured in the direction of movement of the slides 2 and 3, than the webs 6. In the same way, the slide 2 is provided with passage openings 7 and webs 8 in between, as is the slide 3, the passage openings of which are designated with 9 and the webs with 10. The webs 8, 10 are narrower than the associated openings 7, 9.
Overall, the arrangement is such that the openings 5 of the cover frame 1 can be completely covered by the webs 8, 10 of the slides 2, 3, as can be seen from FIG. 4. 1, 3 and 4 are an embodiment in which the two slides 2, 3 can be moved in opposite directions by a common handle. The handle 11 is rotatably connected to the cover plate 1 by a rivet 12, for example. The handle 11 carries two pins 13, 14 which are diametrically opposite one another and which are at the same distance from the axis of rotation of the handle 11.
In the free end of the handle 11, a hole 15 can be provided for the engagement of a rod or the like. The Zap fen 13 engages in an elongated hole 16 of the slide 3, while the pin 14 engages in an elongated hole 17 of the slide 2 bers. In order to enable the movement, the kidney-shaped slots 18, 19 are also provided for the passage of the pins 13, 14 in the cover plate 1. Insofar as one of the pins 13, 14 passes through one of the slides in order to reach the elongated hole 16 or 17 belonging to it, this slide is provided with a further cutout; Such a section is indicated at 20 in FIG. 1.
While the cutout 20 extends essentially in the longitudinal direction of the slide, the slots 16, 17 are perpendicular to the direction of movement of the slide.
If the hand lever 11 is pivoted upwards in FIG. 1, the slide 3 moves from right to left in the drawing with the aid of the handle pin 13, while at the same time the slide 2 moves from left to right with the help of the handle pin 14 as indicated by arrows in Fig.4.
At the beginning of this opening movement, behind the center of the passage openings 5 of the cover plate 1, a small gap is created between the webs 8, 10 of the two slides, which increases continuously as the handle 11 is pivoted further until the handle 11 is in the other end position the passage openings 5 are fully released dig.
During the closing movement, the handle 11 is pivoted from top to bottom, the slides 2, 3 moving in the directions indicated by arrows in FIG. 3 until the passage openings 5 of the cover plate 1 are completely covered by the webs 8, 10 at the end .
In Fig. 4, the path is shown by the arrow line a, on which outside air could penetrate through the closed device into the interior of the room, if appropriate countermeasures were not taken. These consist in the fact that the edge edges 6 'of the webs 6 of the cover plate 1 are bent approximately at right angles. These bent edge edges 6 'engage in the holes 7 of the slide 2. As can be seen from FIG. 4, this effectively prevents the passage of air when the device is closed.
Instead of the described opposite movement of the two slides 2, 3, the arrangement can also be made so that the two slides 2, 3 move in the same direction, but with one slide leading the other.
In Fig. 5 the design of a handle 21 is shown which is suitable for moving the two slides in the last-mentioned manner. The hand have 21 is in turn verbun rotatably verbun by a their axis of rotation bil Dende rivet 12 with the cover plate 1. The handle 21 carries two pins 22, 23 which lie on one side of the axis of rotation 12 and which have different distances from the axis of rotation 12. Here, the pin 22 has twice the distance from the axis of rotation 12 as the pin 23.
Those at the pins 22, 23 in turn engage the slides 2, 3, with the result that, during the opening movement, the two slides 2, 3 move in one direction in FIG. 1 from right to left the slide moved by the pin 22 leads the slide on the latter. The end result is the same as in the first embodiment.
As already mentioned, the total air passage can be increased if the webs of the individual parts are made even narrower, in which case three or more slides would have to be arranged.
According to what has been said above, it is readily understandable that the concept of the invention can also be applied to ventilation rosettes, with trapezoidal passage openings being provided in the various links in a manner known per se. A handle can also be provided in the case of a ventilation rosette in order to move both rotary slides or more together.
The ventilation device can be installed at any point in an outer wall, preferably it will be arranged in the fixed frame of a window or door.
Finally, it should be mentioned that the concept of the invention should not be limited to a ventilation device; because the device is, for example, also suitable for controlling the entry of warm air in a room in conjunction with heating systems.
