Recirculating compressor with helically toothed rotors The subject matter of the present invention is a Unilaufverdiehter with very cone-shaped rotors, in which the tooth flanks of the main rotor are convex and the tooth flanks of the secondary rotor are concave.
In known rotary feeders of this type, as a result of the pressure output occurring relatively late, there is a leisurely between the existing content of the main rotor tooth gap and the noeli uncompacted content. the secondary rotor 7ahnliieke at the start of compression rather large eddy and overflow losses in the present. Undesired contractions occur during discharge and during the conveyance, which also result in losses.
According to the present invention, the mentioned losses are reduced by the fact that a flattening is located on the tooth of the secondary rotor anmit elbar behind the trailing control edge, the surfaces meeting in this edge forming an obtuse angle with one another. The best conditions are achieved when the projected width of the flattening of the secondary rotor on the tip circle is 12 to 18% of the width of the cylindrical part of the tooth head.
Favorable flow conditions are achieved when the section is perpendicular to the rotor axis. of the tooth profile of the secondary rotor, the flattened area is at least approximately perpendicular to the center line of the adjacent tooth gap. In the drawing, the subject of the invention is illustrated, for example, and known versions are also provided.
Fig. 1 shows a rotary compressor, partly in section and in plan view of the cooperating rotors at the beginning of the overflow period.
FIG. 2 is a cross section taken along line I-I of FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 shows a partial section through Fig. 2. Corresponding point of a Umlaufver poet of known design.
Fig. 4 shows the rotary compressor accordingly Fig. 1, but at the beginning of the discharge period.
Fig. 5 is a cross section. corresponding to the line II-II of FIG. 4.
FIG. 6 shows a partial section through the point corresponding to FIG. 5 of a rotary compressor of known design.
Fig. 7 is a cross section through a tooth tip of the slave rotor of the example on a larger scale.
In the housing 1 (Fig. 1 and 4) run by means of the pins 2, 3, 4, 5 in the bushes 6, 7, 8, 9 mounted helically toothed rotors 10 and 11. The main rotor 10 has the convex screw teeth 12 and the secondary rotor 11, the concave screw teeth 13 on. The direction of rotation of the two rotors 10 and 11 is, as indicated by the arrows, opposite. The intake leg 14 for the air inlet, shown in broken lines, lies on the underside of the fan housing 1.
The Aastrittstasche 15 lies over the rotors 10, 11. The position of the teeth 12, 13 is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 at the moment when the flow from the tooth gap 16 of the main rotor 10 into the tooth gap 17 of the secondary rotor 11 begins Has. The control edge 18 on the housing 1 also forms the Dilrchdringilngskante of the C-housing cylinder 19 and 20, with which the near-healing control edge 21 of the secondary rotor 11 cooperates.
The already mentioned Iber: stream triangle is designated in Fig. 1 with 2-2. For comparison with the forward placement of the trailing control edge 2-1 at the head of the tooth 13, FIG. 3 shows the relationships as they result from the known feel-ing, namely the rotors 10a. and lla drawn forward rotated by the amount of the Vcrle; img of the control edges 21 when the flat portion 25 is formed.
The position analogous to Fig. 2 is shown dashed lines. The overflow would not be in progress in the embodiment according to FIG. 3.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the beginning of the compression takes place at the point in time when the tooth 13a is soft. the secondary rotor 11a begins to penetrate into the gap 16 of the main rotor 10. The compression takes place. so first in the tooth gap of the main rotor. The pre-compression in the tooth gap 16 continues until the tooth head 13a of the secondary rotor 11 with its trailing control edge 21a overrides the cutting edge 18 of the clevis cylinders 19 and 20.
In the tooth gap 16, the medium to be compressed and conveyed is already compressed quite a lot, while up to this point in time the content of the tooth gap 17 of the secondary rotor 11a has not yet been compressed.
As soon as the trailing head edge 21a of the secondary rotor 11a begins to override the cutting edge 18 of the two housing cylinders 19 and 20, a three-cornered connection between the toothed link 16 of the main rotor 10 and the secondary rotor 11 is opened.
This pressure equilibrium is, however, associated with noticeable losses, in particular because it takes place relatively late, that is to say with a large pressure gradient and therefore high speeds and with the participation of a large volume.
In addition, since the two boundary lines of the overflow triangle, namely the Selmitt edge 18 of the two housing cylinders 1.9 and 20 and the top edge 21a. of the @ secondary rotor lla have a sehnena-like shape, the pressure compensation also takes place under unfavorable flow conditions.
The ratios are much more favorable in the embodiment according to FIG. 2. As a result of the forward movement of the trailing control edge 21 on the head of the secondary rotor 11, the connection between the already pre-compacted content of the tooth gap 16 of the main rotor 10 and the still recompressed content takes place the tooth gap 17 of the secondary rotor 11 much earlier. The Dr2zek gradient and the speeds are therefore smaller.
Likewise, the volume to be displaced between the two spaces 16 and 17 for pressure compensation is much smaller, so that the pressure compensation takes place with significantly smaller losses.
In the known embodiment according to FIG. 6, the head edge 21a controlling the outlet has. of the secondary rotor lla. also if cutting edge shape. The compressed gas is expelled into the Alislasssehlitz 15 with a large vortex formation. The flow conditions are also unfavorable here.
By using the measure in the example that a flattening 25 is provided immediately behind the trailing control edge 21 @!., I tooth 13 of the auxiliary rotor 11, the surfaces 25, 30 meeting in the controlling edge 21 being blunt Angle (including 3 with each other), however, also results in an effective improvement of the same when the conveyed and compressed gas is expelled.
The best conditions for both the overflow men during the pre-compression as when ejecting are achieved when the projected onto the drip circle width a (Fig. 7) of the flattening 25 of the secondary rotor 12 to 18% of the width b of the cylindrical part of the tooth tip.
If the width a is made smaller than 12%, the beneficial effect diminishes, if it is larger than 18% livestock,
so the width of the remaining head portion b is reduced so far that the "i.bdieleline between this and the housing 1 would begin to decrease noticeably.
The trailing control edge 21 is moved forward as shown in FIG. 7 by flattening 25 of the corresponding edge of the tooth tip 13 so that in the section of the tooth profile perpendicular to the rotor axes, the flat flattening is at least approximately perpendicular to the center line JT of the adjacent tooth gap so that angle a is about 90.
The cylindrical head part b and the flat 25 enclose an obtuse angle, ss. Instead of the selineid-like shape, the steering tooth tip 13 of the secondary rotor 11 now has the flow-guiding surface 25, so that the flow occurs with smaller contraction and significantly smaller losses during pressure equalization and during conveyance.
In order to avoid a possible separation of the flow at the edge between the rounding and tooth gap profile, and at the same time to achieve a small additional improvement in the flow conditions, a rounding is provided between the flattening 25 and your tooth gap profile.
Another possibility to move the trailing control edge of the secondary rotor l1. to achieve is that the flattening is formed by an arc 31 so that the rounding extends up to the control edge 21, in such a way that, in the section perpendicular to the rotor axis, the rounding circle laid by the control edge 21 Tangent T is at least approximately perpendicular to the center line M of the tooth gap 17.
