Dieser Ring 7, der ebenfalls aus ge eignetem Kunstharzstoff besteht, wird in noch unverfestigtem Zustand auf den Stiel 2 aufgezogen, so da.ss er sich infolge der durch Wärmeabgang eintretenden Schrumpfung auf dem Stiel 2 festsetzt bzw. sich mit ihm innig verbindet, ohne dass es hierzu auf eine genau vorgeschriebene Dicke des Stieles 2 ankommt;
Knocker for dedusting purposes. The invention relates to a dedusting from carpets, clothes, upholstered furniture, mattresses, etc. certain knockers with the sleeping part and stem forming ver wounded rods made of pipe.
The knocker according to the invention is characterized by the fact that the handle in the hand grip area has a cover made of highly polymeric flexible material which covers at least its circumference.
This gives the knocker on the grip part of its handle a supple cover as protection for the hand, especially against the risk of skin injuries, without affecting the flexibility of the knocker, which is advantageous when using the knocker.
Several exemplary embodiments of the knocker according to the invention are to be explained in more detail using the drawing. 1 shows a first example of the knocker, with a section through the protective cover, FIGS. 2 and 3, on a larger scale, the grip part of the knocker handle with a section through the protective cover, each of which is designed in a different manner.
On the knocker shown in Fig.l 1 denotes the striking part and 2 the stem, formed ans three in a known manner, which rods 3, which usually consist of sea pipe (Spanish pipe). The rods 3 are tied in a known manner at the point where their loops forming the Sehla, leil 1. merge into the clrallför @ shaped handle 2, and are held together at the free end of the handle by an upturned cap-shaped clamp 5.
In Fig. 1 'with 6 is for example. from ge suitable synthetic resin existing cover be characterized, which covers the stem 2 on the front side and on a subsequent certain longitudinal distance and runs freely on the stem.
For the purpose of producing this cover 6, the knocker on the handle end part is immersed in the synthetic resin, which is in the thin liquid state, to a depth which corresponds to the length provided for the cover 6 on the knocker handle 2; After a short immersion time, the knocker is pulled out of the bath again, whereupon the synthetic resin material it has picked up on the handle solidifies as a result of cooling and becomes attached to the.
Stalk 2 connects intimately, but without becoming stiff; if necessary, the said cooling can be accelerated by immersing the end of the handle in a cooling liquid such as water.
The mentioned Eintarichtiefe the knocker handle 2 is. In the embodiment of the knocker provided according to FIG. 2, it is fixed by a ring 7 placed on the handle 2, which serves as a front closure for the casing 6.
This ring 7, which is also made of suitable synthetic resin material, is pulled onto the handle 2 in the still unsolidified state, so that it attaches itself to the handle 2 as a result of the shrinkage caused by heat dissipation or connects itself to it intimately without this depends on a precisely prescribed thickness of the stem 2;
the stick thickness can vary within certain limits without any disadvantage, which is important insofar as such differences in thickness are naturally unavoidable in the knocker production due to the rods used.
The ring 7 has a circumferential groove 8, which has been filled with synthetic resin during the immersion process described, so that when the latter solidifies a correspondingly firm connection between the ring 7 and the shell 6 was ent. Said locking ring ensures a counter. external mechanical effects particularly resistant connection of the sheath 6 at its front end to the handle 2.
In the embodiment of the knocker provided according to FIG. 3, a sleeve 6a with a base 6b, which is prefabricated from a suitable synthetic resin material, is turned up on its handle. The shell 6a is pushed onto the stem 2 before its final Ver consolidation, so that it is still firmly connected to the stem 2. If necessary, the sheath 6ca can be tapered somewhat towards its free or front end, in the sense of the decreasing thickness of the stem 2.
According to a further embodiment, it is also possible to design the shell of the hammer without a bottom, that is to say open on both sides, so that the face of the handle end is not covered by the shell.
The protective cover provided in the sense of the described three exemplary embodiments from prevents contact with the metal, sharp-edged metal clamp 5 at its free or front end, and the rods 2 forming the handle, which become cracked or brittle over time. On the other hand, unevenness of the outer surface of the knocker handle 2 is more or less equalized or eliminated by the protective cover, so that a correspondingly evenly created pliable gripping surface is offered by the cover of the hand.
Instead of a plastic of the type mentioned or similar, the cover provided on the knocker handle can consist of a natural material such as rubber or caoutchouc.
