Biegsame Rohrverbindung.
Flexible pipe connection. The present invention relates to flexible roller joints in which axial pressures applied to the connected pipes, e.g. B. by liquid pressure, can cause no axial relative movement between these ver related pipe pieces, but through which pipe connections a ge certain twisting or kneeling of an individual pipe pieces should be possible relative to each other.
The purpose of the present invention is to create such a connection with which the frictional forces that have to be overcome during the above-mentioned small relative movement of two adjacent pipe sections are relatively small.
The invention relates to a flexible roller connection which has a flansel at the end of one of two pipe sections, as well as a clamping ring which is clamped to a flange at the abutting end of the other pipe section, and in which a number of spacer members between the first mentioned Flange and the clamping ring is arranged ani, these links are essentially parallel to the length of the pipe sections,
and sealing means are present between the abutting pipe ends. The accompanying drawing shows an axial sectional view of part of an exemplary embodiment of the flexible pipe connection according to the present invention.
In the illustrated practical embodiment, which is applied to Rolire containing gas under pressure, one end of one of two pipe sections a, b is provided with a first flange c provided, which is equipped on one side with a row of shell-shaped sockets d, which is axially aligned with a further row of similar sockets e, which are arranged in a preferably split small ring f . The clamping ring f, which fits the first pipe section a, is fastened with the aid of a series of axial screws g to a flange h which is firmly attached to the abutting end of the adjacent pipe section b </ B > sits.
A bolt i with rounded ends is arranged between each pair of sockets d and e directed towards one another, the bolts being pressed together by the action of the hydraulic pressure in the pipes.
A Dielitungsring j is arranged in a gap between the abutting ends I of the pipe pieces. To prevent leakage of liquid, this ring has a circular shape and is set up in the area of its inner circumference against a suitable support surface el to lie on the end of the tube a and in the area of its outer circumference against a suitable support surface kl on a seat ring k, between the clamping ring f and the Flange, A is arranged.
The liquid pressure in the pipes keeps the ring in close contact with these support surfaces and thus prevents liquid from flowing out.
A spring member is also provided to keep the sealing ring in place when there is no fluid pressure. This spring member is suitably designed as a koniselier, formed from a thin-walled metal body ring, which is perforated at intervals and has an axial length that is slightly greater than the space available for the ring, so that the ring is somewhat compressed when the Rohrver bond is assembled, and the arrangement is such that the sealing effect of the ring is proportional to the pressure that is to be sealed,
increases.
In another training standard, tension members and correspondingly modified bases are provided between the bases aligned on one another instead of the pressure members i.
The type of flexibility which the above-mentioned examples of the connection according to the present invention have, enables a relative movement of the two ends of adjacent pipe sections in a direction perpendicular to the pipe axis and a slight inclination of one pipe relative to the other about an axis, which is perpendicular to the pipe axis. In particular, a relative rotation of one pipe-lun the axis of the other is facilitated. By arranging two or more of these connections in one pipeline, different expansions between the two ends of the entire pipeline can be easily compensated for.
The frictional forces that have to be overcome in order to bring about a permitted relative movement of two adjacent pipe sections are relatively small in the examples mentioned.
