Kondenawasserableiter.
Condensate drain. There are condensate drains are known in which the outlet valve is controlled by a bimetal package. becomes. In such condensate drains, the work valve is also designed as a check valve. The connection of the bimetallic body with the valve body creates certain difficulties, since flexible strands or chains have not proven successful.
Experience shows that as a result of not. avoidable corrosion, the flexibility of the strands is destroyed after a short time and, on the other hand, burrs twist during operation and can no longer be returned to their starting position due to the corrosion. In both cases, the valve is not working properly. secured.
The subject of the present invention is a condensate drain that has a bimetal-controlled outlet valve, but the connection of the bimetal expansion body with the Ventilkör is solved by in a way that enables the difficulties mentioned to be eliminated.
The condensate drain according to the present invention, in which the valve closing against the outflow direction of the condensate is controlled by a bimetallic expansion body, the bimetallic expansion body consisting of a number of bimetallic plates acting in the same direction and forming a tongue whose freely moving end is connected to the movable valve body, guided independently of the lateral movements of the tongue, so that it can move laterally, is characterized by the fact that the valve body with.
the bi-metal expansion body is connected via a rod which has a slot in which the connecting pin between Ven tilkörper and rod is guided, and that a filter is installed laterally removable.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject of the invention is shown with example.
In the housing 1, an inlet port 2 and a condensate water outlet port 3 are easily seen, which are usually connected to vertical pipes. The bimetal expansion body 4, which consists of a number of bimetallic plates acting in the same direction and forms a tongue, is fastened by means of a Sehraubv connection 5 in the housing 1 be.
The valve seat body 6 is screwed into the outlet connection 3, in which the valve body 7, which closes off against the outflow direction of the condensate, is movably supported independently of the lateral movements of the body 4. The valve body 7 has a shaft 8 which is designed as a guide body and has grooves for the condensation water to pass through. The valve stem 8 of the valve body is connected via a rod 9 to the end of the bi-metal expansion body 4 designed as a tongue.
The connection is made by pins 10 and 11 that allow lateral movement. A slot 12 is provided in the rod 9, in which the pin 11 is mounted so that the valve body 7 can execute a closing movement without the bimetallic expansion body having to take part in this movement. The Ven valve can therefore act as a check valve. In the housing 1, an opening 13 is provided which is closed off by a transparent body 14 which is fastened to the housing in a sealing manner by means of the annular body 15.
The condensate drain also contains a filter 16, which is inserted laterally removable in the housing 1 through a further opening 17 and is fastened by means of the flange 18.
In the embodiment described, the venting takes place automatically through the normal working valve, in which the internal overpressure pushes out the air when starting from the cold state. The filter built into the condensate drain avoids the separate arrangement of filters and, thanks to its arrangement, can be removed and cleaned quickly and easily.
The control read, which is arranged in an opening provided in the housing on the side opposite the bi-metal expansion body and closes this, makes it possible to monitor the function of the condensate drain. The external dimensions of such a condensate drain can be kept small, so that the weight allows installation in the line without special support devices, such as consoles and the like, even for the largest systems.
All the facilities that a condensation drain must have according to the current state of technology, ie automatic venting, return valve, viewing glass and filter, are combined in one housing, and all individual parts are easily accessible and removable. The condensate drain can of course be used in the steam line with flanges as well as with other means.
