Houppe à poudrer. Cette invention concerne une houppe à poudrer, destinée à. pouvoir appliquer la poudre de toilette sur la totalité du corps.
Jusqu'ici, cette application,de poudre était effectuée au moyen d'un houppe composée d'un tampon compact de matière souple sur la face arrière duquel était fixée une poignée ou une lanière ou ruban sous lequel la main de l'usager pouvait être introduite. La poudre est appliquée sur la, houppe soit en pressant celle-ci dans la boîte à poudre, soit en la sau poudrant.
Les inconvénients de -ce type de houppe sont évidents. Etant .donné les posi tions incommodes que la main ,de l'usager est obligée de prendre pour poudrer la totalité du corps, les doigts glissent souvent de la poi gnée, ou la miain glisse hors -du ruban ou de la lanière et la houppe tombe sur le plancher, d'où il résulte une perte de poudre.
En outre, la quantité de poudre nécessaire étant assez grande, l'usager était obligé de plonger cons- tamment la houppe dans la boîte à poudre. De plus, lie déplacement de la houppe entre la boîte à poudre et le,corps provoque un gaspil lage de poudre qui se répand par terre.
L'objet de la présente invention se rap porte à une houppe à poudrer, pouvant conte nir de la, poudre de toilette, et destinée à poudrer le corps, earaetérisiée par le fait qu'elle a sensiblement lia. forme et la .dimen.- sion d'une main, par le fait qu'elle présente une paroi avant, une paroi intermédiaire et unie paroi arrière,
antes çh"une de matière douce et souple, la paroi avant -étant en matière perméable à la poudre et la. paroi intermédiaire étant imperméable à la poudre, une couture réunissant par une partie de leurs bords les parois avant, intermédiaire -et arrière,
-et formant de chaque côté de la paroi intermédiaire unie poche avant pour la poudre respectivexuent une poche arrière pour loger la main, ces poches étant ouvertes à une extré mité de la houppe pour permettre le remplis,- sage & la poche à pouidire et l'introduction de la main .dans la poGh´ correspondante,
et enfin par le fait que des moyens sont prévus pour pouvoir fermer l'extrémité ouverte de la poche à poudre.
Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, unie forme d'exécution de la houppe à poudrer. La fig. 1 est unie vue en plan par-@desslous de la houppe à poudrer faisant l'objet de cette invention.

La houppe à poudrer représentée sur le dessin comprend trois parois, savoir: une paroi arrière 1 faite d'un tissu souple ornemental, une paroi intermédiaire 2 de forme semblable, faite d'une matière imperméable à la. poudre et une paroi avant 3, faite d'une matière per méable à la poudre.
La paroi 3 recouvre la paroi arrière 1 et la paroi intermédiaire 2, sauf à une extrémité où elle dépasse exté rieurement au-dielà desdites parois 1 et 2, pour former un rabat 4 dont le but sera. exposé ci- dessous.
Les trois parois: 1, 2 et 3 sont réunies sur les bords, sauf à l'extrémité où est situé le rabat 4, par une couture, par exemple. Les parois peuvent être assemblées en plaçant la parai 1 entre les d'eux autres, un ruban. 5 enve loppant les bords de la paroi avant 3 et de la.
paroi arrièr$ 1; le ruban présente un bord épaissi 6 de la houppe à l'intérieur. Les: trois parois -et le ruban sont cousus ensemble par leurs bords, superposés comme indiqué ci- dessus, après quoi. la houppe est retournée pour rendre aux parois leurs positions respec tives normales:, comme représenté fig. 2.
Le bord épaissi 6 du ruban 5 assure ainsi le re- couvremient -d'ecomatif de la Bouture.
Ainsi réunies, la paroi arrière 1 et la paroi intermédiaire 2 forment une poche 8 dont une extrémité est ouverte, et la paroi avant 3 et la paroi intermédiaire 2 forment une poche 9 ayant une ouverture à la même extrémité: La poche 8 est destinée à recevoir la main, tandis que la poche 9 est destinée<B>à</B> recevoir la poudre. Comme il a été remarqué ci-dessus, la paroi 2 qui sépare les poches est en matière imperméable à la poudre, tandis que la paroi 3 est en matière perméable à la poudre.
Le rabat 4 destiné à fermer la poche à poudre 9 est introduit dans l'ouverture de la poche 8 oii il peut être fixé de façon amovible à la paroi intermédiaire 2.
Les moyens, de fixation ici plusieurs éléments mâles .de pression 10, fixés à demeure sur le bord libre @du rabat 4 par une bande de ren- forcement qui y est cousue, .et plusieurs élé- m-ents femelles de pression correspondants<B>11</B> fixés à demeure par des moyens similaires sur le côté correspondant de la paroi intermé diaire 2.
De toute évidence, lorsque le rabat 4 est rabattu à VintérietRr de l'ouverture de la poche 8 et est fixé de façon amovible à la paroi 2 par les éléments -pressions, 10 et 11, l'ouverture de la poche à poudre 9 se trouve complètement fermée.
Un ruban élastique 12 est fixé à demeure par ses extrémités aux bords opposés du côté arrière -de la. paroi avant 3 et est disposé s ensi iblement <B>à</B> l'endroit où le rabat 4 et la paroi 2 sont joints.
Ce ruban élastique 12 res serre la paroi avant 3 aidant ainsi non seule ment à maintenir le gant sur la main de l'usager, mais aidant également le rabat 4 à assurer la fermeture étanche de l'ouverture de la poche à poudre 9. Un prolongement 13 du ruban â dépasse extérieurement à l'extré mité ouverte de la houppe, -de manière à for mer une boucle permettant d'accrocher ladite houppe lorsqu'on ne s'en sert pas.
Pour l'emploi, on remplit la poche 9, par son ouverture de la poche à poudre, et on la. ferme en fixant le rabat 4 à la paroi inter médiaire 2 au moyen des pressions 10 et 11. On introduit alors la main dans la poche à main 8, tomme représenté en fig. 4, et la houppe est prête à être utilisée.

The powder puff shown in the drawing comprises three walls, namely: a rear wall 1 made of an ornamental flexible fabric, an intermediate wall 2 of similar shape, made of a material impermeable to the. powder and a front wall 3, made of a material permeable to powder.
The wall 3 covers the rear wall 1 and the intermediate wall 2, except at one end where it projects outwardly beyond said walls 1 and 2, to form a flap 4 whose purpose will be. set out below.
The three walls: 1, 2 and 3 are joined at the edges, except at the end where the flap 4 is located, by a seam, for example. The walls can be assembled by placing the parai 1 between the other ones, a ribbon. 5 enveloping the edges of the front wall 3 and the.

This elastic band 12 res tightens the front wall 3 thus not only helping to keep the glove on the user's hand, but also helping the flap 4 to ensure the tight closing of the opening of the powder bag 9. A extension 13 of the ribbon â protrudes outwardly from the open end of the tassel, -so as to form a loop allowing said tassel to be hooked when not in use.
For use, the pocket 9 is filled by its opening of the powder pocket, and it is there. closes by fixing the flap 4 to the intermediate wall 2 by means of the pressures 10 and 11. The hand is then introduced into the hand pocket 8, as shown in FIG. 4, and the tassel is ready to use.
