Method and device for keeping a rope taut on a rope drum. When winding a rope on a rope drum in layers, it is important for its protection and thus the service life not to let the rope tension fall below a certain minimum that ensures the correct contact of the rope on the drum.
Even when the unloaded rope is being wound up, it is necessary for it to lie as snugly as possible on the drum in order to subsequently provide the loaded rope with the tightest and most orderly possible support possible. On the other hand, it must also be prevented that when the rope tension ceases due to the load and when the drive of the winding drum is disengaged, it is twisted due to the elasticity and rebound of the rope and the rope loosens on the drum.
According to the method according to the invention, the rope can be taut at all times on the rope drum by the fact that when the rope bounces back as a result of the relief, on the one hand the rope drum is automatically braked against reverse rotation and on the other hand the unwound rope is automatically fixed at a distance from the rope drum is jammed.
This process should be explained using the drawing, for example. The same shows an exemplary embodiment of the device which is particularly suitable for performing the method, also forming the subject of the invention.
1 is a side view, FIG. 2 is a plan view of FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a larger-scale cross section along the line III-III in FIG.
It is a winch drawn, the .ein elongated, frame-like support frame 1 be seated, in which by means of axle journals 2 the. Cable drum 3 is rotatably mounted. The rope or winding drum 3 has a brake rim 4, which is assigned a brake pad 5 which is pivotably mounted between .den arms of a support fork 6 which is firmly connected to a hand lever 7; the hand lever 7 is used to lift the brake pad for the purpose of releasing the brake. The support fork 6 and hand lever 7 are arranged on a shaft mounted in a part of the support frame 1. The shaft 8 carries a pulley 9 intended for motor drive.
On the drive shaft 8 sits non-rotatably, but axially slidable ver a drive wheel 10, which is intended to interact with one of the Seiltrom mel 3. provided ring gear 11; In the drawing, the engagement and disengagement lift provided for the drive wheel 10 is omitted. On the drum 3, the rope 12 is fastened at its one end, which is passed with its part wound down from the drum between two guide rollers 13 and 14 arranged one above the other; these two guide rollers are located on a transverse part of the support frame 1.
On the two long sides of this support frame 1, at a certain distance from the cable drum 3 arranged transversely in the support frame 1, an axle bolt 15 is attached, on which a bow-shaped rocker arm 16 is mounted, the web of which is formed by an axle bolt 17 is on which a .geillte brake disc 18 attached to the circumference eats; The cable 12 is passed between the brake disks 18 lying opposite one another.
On the top side of each brake disc 18, according to the drawing, a ratchet wheel 19t, to which a pawl 20 is assigned, is held against .die brake disc 18 in question by a compression spring 22 pushed onto its Achsbol 17 according to FIG. a tension spring (not shown) engages each pawl 20 and keeps the pawl in engagement with your ratchet 19.
Tension springs 23 act on the rocker arms 16 and are effective in the sense that the two brake disks 18 are pulled against each other and thus against the cable 12; According to FIG. 2, the two rocking levers 16 are in an acute or obtuse-angled position with respect to the longitudinal sides of the support frame 1.
Mode of operation of the described rope wind- It is assumed that the rope drum 3 rotates when lifting the load attached to the free end .des rope 12, for example when pulling up a loaded trolley on rising terrain, in the direction of the arrow according to FIG. 1. When the rope drum 3, e.g. B. due to interruption of their drive by axial displacement of the drive wheel 10 in the dash-dotted position according to FIG. 2, comes to S'til'lstand, then the tendency to reverse rotation of the rope drum 3 is set under the pulling action of the rope 1.2 .
At this moment it is braked by the brake pad 5 in that .this brake pad 5 and the support fork 6 together result in a toggle lever action.
In the case of relief .des rope 12, the. can occur, for example, that the trolley comes to a slightly downward sloping terrain during the climb, the rope tends to loosen between the rope drum 3 and the pair of brake disks 18. As a result, due to the influence of the tension springs 23 attacking the rocker arms 16, the rocker arm pair 16 acts as a toggle lever, so that the cable 12 is clamped between the two brake disks 18 and thus between this clamping point and the cable drum 3, as well on this itself remains taut.
In the process described, the two brake disks 18 are prevented from rotating within given limits as a result of the frictional effect caused by the locking wheels 19 axia'1 loaded by means of the pressure springs 22 in cooperation with the locking pawls 20. When the cable rebounds due to relief, both processes described occur simultaneously, the cable drum 3 brakes and at the same time the cable is clamped through .die brake disks 18.
The frictional effect of the locking wheels 19 is to be accepted when lifting the rope load; it stops immediately when the rope 12 is unwound, for example with lowering of the load, because here the brake disks 18 and the locking wheels 19 are moved or rotated accordingly.
When the load is lowered, the brake is released by means of the hand lever 7 by lifting the brake pad 5 for the purpose of unwinding the cable 12 from the drum 3. The braking or clamping force of the two brake disks 1.8 on the rope 1.2 is. reduced by the fact that the two rocker arms 16 now move slightly apart under the cable pull, so the brake formed by means of the two disks 18 is accordingly opened; the brake disks 18 now rotate together with the locking disks 16 by. now the pawls 2'0 are ineffective.
Instead of a brake pad, zurre brakes the cable drum z. B: - A brake band can also be provided, with one brake section being fastened eccentrically to the brake shaft and the other brake section to a brake lever, so that a differential effect arises. Furthermore, the frictional effect between the brake disks 18 and the. Ratchet wheels 19, instead of compression springs in another way, for.
B. take place by means of brake blocks, which are subject to a toggle lever action and interact with the circumferential grooves of the brake discs.
