Adjusting device, in particular for seating furniture. The present invention relates to a stowing device, in particular for seating furniture, and it is characterized by a part which is arranged in a guide body and can be interchangeably arranged in a guide body and which has at least one retaining member located inside the guide body, means being provided for holding the feet. stha, lteorgan automatically bring into effect in each setting position and means,
which enable the retaining element to be reversed into the outermost extension position in such a way that after the reversal has taken place, the extendable part can be moved back into the starting position.
The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in connection with a work chair, specifically showing: FIG. 1 a view, Fit; 2 a vertical section through the hold-in position in @ irl @ ungs @ b. Fi- '. 3 one.
Side view of a detail, Fi-. 4 shows a Tertical section through the frame device located in the lower starting position; and FIG. 5 shows a vertical section through FIG. e holding device in release position.
With 1 (Fig. 1), the stand and 2 with the tube of a work chair. The tube 3 serves as a guide for the round rod 3, which the latter carries a cross 4 at its upper end, on which the seat plate 5 'is fastened by means not shown in detail. With a union nut 6 is referred to, which is screwed onto the upper, threaded end of the tube 2 and the lower end of which has a recess with a conical contact surface 6 '.
The lower end of the round rod 3 has a central bore 7, which is used to receive the pin 8. The pin 8 is provided with a circumferential groove 9 in which the screw 9 'engages with its foot 1.0 and thereby secures the pin 8 against falling out. The pin 8 is widened at its lower end to form a holder 11 which has a circular cross section and which is guided in the tube 2. The lower end of the holder 11 is fork-shaped and penetrated by the bolt 12, on which the retaining member 13 is limited rotatable GE superimposed.
The retaining element 13 has two wings 14 and 15, one of which (14) is under the influence of the bolt under the action of the helical spring 16. 17 stands. One end of the bolt 18, which is passed through the bore of the holder 11 with friction, is in operative connection with the wing 15. The quake the wall of the pipe 2 directed surface of the wing 15 runs eccentrically with tightening from top to bottom and is seen with notches 19.
The use and operation of the adjustment and locking device described is as follows; Assuming that the device described is installed in a work chair with a height-adjustable seat and that you want to: move the seat plate 5 from position I (fix. 1) to position II (fix. 1), then one records. the seat plate 5, with your hands and pulls it up, z. B .. until position II is reached.
When pulling up, the bolt 17 presses under the influence of the helical spring 16 on the wings 14 so that the wing 15 provided with notches 19 slides loosely on the opposite inner wall of the tube 2, due to the eccentricity but no more clamping effect can exercise.
If you now sit on the seat plate 5 or if you want to move the seat plate 5 downwards by hand, the part of the wing 15 provided with notches 19 will roll away by a small amount, so that it has a clamping effect due to its eccentricity exercises the adjacent pipe wall and, thereby securing the round rod 3 and thus the seat plate 5 against unintentional displacement.
For example, if you want to move the seat from position II downwards to position III, you grasp it with your hands and first pull the seat plate up until the balancer 18, through the attachment fila @ ch-e 6 ', follows against the friction is shifted below, in which position the lower end of the B.oüzens 18 exerts a pressure on the wing 15 and the, locking member 17, against the action of the spring 16 in,
5 he moves the position in which the wing 15 @ provided with the notches 19, can no longer exert a clamping effect on the inner wall of the tube 2 and the displaceable organs are thus moved freely in the tube 2 and into the lower one Ausganb laxe Fig. 4 can be spent in which the bolt 1 & is moved back up.
Instead of being used for work chairs as shown, the locking and locking device described can of course also be used for other objects where the aim is to hold an extendable part in different positions,
The device shown could also be designed in their details other than drawn net without affecting the essence of the invention.
