Sorting machine for platelets. The invention relates to a sorting machine for plates, in particular for crystal plates.
One step in the manufacturing process of piezocrystals is sorting the crystal plates according to their thickness. This sorting has previously been done by hand with some known micrometer device.
However, in the case of large-scale production, the method is to measure the thickness of each individual crystal plate. a time-consuming process when exact sorting is required and a large number of workers are required just for this one stage in the entire manufacturing process. In addition, errors cannot be ruled out when sorting by hand.
The sorting machine according to the present invention avoids these disadvantages. The same is characterized by measuring means for automatically determining the thickness of the plates passing through the machine and by means of collecting these plates in groups of equal thickness after they have passed through the measuring means.
The attached drawing shows, for example, embodiments of the sorting machine according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of a first sorting machine, Fig. I 'is a side view of the machine as shown in Fig. 1, but with. a feeding device, FIG. 3 is a section of the machine along the line 3-3 of FIG.
Fig. 4 is part of the front view of the machine as shown in Fig. 2, but with a different feeding device.
FIG. 5 shows a plan view of the feed device from FIG. 4.
FIG. 6 shows a part of the top view of the machine of FIG. 1 with a different transmission ratio of the transmission of the rollers.
Fig. 7 is a plan view of a variant of the measuring means, and Fig. 8 shows yet another variant of the measuring means.
According to FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 of the drawing calculations, the machine for the automatic sorting of platelets, z. B. Kri stall plate according to the thickness, two inclined rollers (rollers) 1 and 2, whose Ach sen are arranged at a small angle to each other, so that the distance between tween the rollers 1 and 2 slowly varies from one end to the other. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 7, the rollers 1 'and 21 are provided with graduations, whereby a greater distance from step to step in the feed device is formed.
In the embodiment of the measuring means shown in Fig. 8, who uses the two conical rollers 1 = and 2 '. The structures shown in Figures 7 and 8 have parallel axes. The conical rollers 1 = and 2- are fastened in such a way that the smallest distance between the rollers 1 = and 2 'is at the end of the supply of the rollers.
The smallest distance between the rollers 1 and 2 at their right end is equal to the thinnest crystal plate to be measured, and the inter mediate space at the other end is equal to the thickest crystal plate to be measured. The rollers 1 and 2 are mounted in bearings 3 and 4 in such a way that the ends of the rollers 1 and 2, which have the narrowest gap, are slightly higher than those ends which have the further distance. A pulley 5 is keyed to one end of the shaft 6 of the roller 1, which is driven by a Klotor 7 via a drive belt 8.
A gear wheel 9 is keyed on the other end of the shaft 6 of the roller 1, which engages in a .anderes, on the axis 11 of the roller 2 wedged gear wheel 7.0. By means of these force transmission members, the rollers 1 and 2 are rotated in opposite directions, in such a way that the neighboring surface areas move upwards (see FIG. 3).
A number of containers 12 are arranged under the space of the rollers 1 and 2 to receive the crystal flakes 13, the. fall through the gap between rollers 1 and 2 when they reach the point where the gap coincides with the thickness of the platelets. In this way: it is brought about that each of these containers always holds crystals of a certain thickness.
The thickness of the crystal platelets that are to be received by the containers can easily be adjusted because a wider or narrower distance between the rollers 1 and 2 is seen at both ends of the rollers, the largest and smallest distances being the thickest and thinnest Kri stall plate correspond .. To determine the distance between the two rollers, the bearings 4 are slidably mounted and can
be moved by means of a micrometer screw in a direction practically perpendicular to the axis of the roller 2. In this way, the distance between the Rol len 1 and 2 can be set very precisely. Crystal flakes of all thicknesses between the two extremes can be sorted, where with crystal flakes of a certain thickness always fall through at the same point between rollers 1 and 2 and therefore always end up in the same container 12.
The rollers 1 and 2 shown in Fig. 1 with slightly inclined axes are arbei th practically in the same way as the Ausfüh shown in Fig. 8 approximately farm, in the parallel axes for the conical rollers 1 'and 2 = are provided.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 7, where stepped rollers 11 and 21 are arranged, all crystal platelets will fall within a certain thickness range at a certain stage of the rollers through, the area is through the distance between the rollers at a stage and the distance of the rollers defined on the adjacent step.
Two different devices to lead the platelets to the rollers 1 and 2 are shown in Figs. 2 and 4 of the drawing voltages. According to Fig. 2 who the platelets are fed through a funnel-shaped vessel 14, which is filled with crystal platelets 13 by hand or automatically from time to time. According to Fig. 4 be, the feed device consists of an endless conveyor belt 14 which sends the rolls be.
In order that the platelets do not interfere with one another on the rolls 1 and 2, which would impair the correct sorting, means are provided for allowing the platelets to pass individually between the rolls.
As shown in FIG. 1, one of the rollers at the feed end has narrow projections 16 which work to gradually push the crystal flakes 13 further so that they move one by one along the measuring gap. Another way of achieving the same thing is to make the circumferential speed of the two rollers 1 and 2 not the same as in FIG. 1, but different, e.g. B. in the ratio 1: 2, as shown in FIG.
As a result of this arrangement of two crystal plates lying on top of one another, the plate that touches the roller with the higher speed of rotation is moved upwards faster by friction than the plate that touches the roller with the slower speed of rotation. In this way. will the two be in the same place between the UTalzen 1 and? located crystal platelets separated from each other. and they move down through rollers 1 and 2 one at a time.
A third way to achieve the same result is explained with reference to FIGS. The crystal flakes 7.3 are fed on the conveyor belt 15, and if they. approach the end of the conveyor system above the higher end of the rollers 1 and 2, two guide rods 17 are arranged at an angle to the conveyor belt in such a way that the inner ends of the rods 17 have a distance from each other, which is only slightly greater than one Crystal plate is.
The two rods 17 move the crystal plates 13, which are scattered along the width of the conveyor belt, towards its center, so that only one crystal plate at a time passes between the two rods 17. In this way, the crystal flakes appear at the end of the conveyor belt 15 in a single row and fall one after the other onto the rollers 1 and 2, on which they then move on individually.
In order to automatically sort the crystal flakes according to their thickness, the same z. B. brought into the funnel 14 or on the conveyor belt 15 and thus fed to the ZVa.lzen 1 and 2 one after the other, as described above. Caused by the rotation of rollers 1 and 2 and further due to their inclined position, the crystal flakes are moved from the feed end of the rollers to the other end along the gap between the rollers.
The thinner crystal flakes - # will fall through the space between the rollers near the feed end, at the point of the distance which exactly corresponds to their thickness, while the thicker ones, which cannot fall through the narrower space between rollers 1 and 2, will fall down to the other The end of the rollers are moved until such a gap between the rollers is reached that this allows the crystal flakes to fall into the boxes 12. Each box therefore only ever receives crystal flakes of the same thickness, of course with the thickness tolerance provided for the sorting.
