Fig. 2 den geschlossenen Behälter zeigt.

Fuel flap closure for motor vehicles.
The previously commonly used fuel container closures, which are screwed onto the container nozzle provided with a wire mesh screen insert, have the disadvantage that the gasoline, which is moved towards the closure, especially when the container is full, easily escapes through the closure while driving due to the vibration of the vehicle . In addition, it is not uncommon for the sealing plug to fall onto the ground when the container is filled and become soiled, so that foreign bodies get through the sieve into the container.
The closure designed according to the present invention has the advantage that it is not necessary to remove it when filling in the fuel, but rather the container is opened only by pulling out the movable part of the closure. The invention consists in that the container nozzle is provided with an inwardly protruding tube with a side opening, in which a second tube is slidably fitting, which has a lid at the outer end and is provided on the cylindrical wall with offset openings in such a way that When the tube 4 is pulled out, one of the openings covers the opening in the fixed tube and the other reaches outside the container.
Here, air openings can be provided both in the cover and in the lower part of the pull-out tube. The way we do this closure will be set out below using an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, which is illustrated on the accompanying drawing, wherein
Fig. 1 is a schematic cross section of the open container and
Figure 2 shows the closed container.
As can be seen, a nozzle 12 is attached to the container i, on which a tube 2, which is provided with an opening 3 and protrudes inwards, is arranged. A tube 4 is inserted snugly into the tube 2, which is open at the bottom, in the wall of which openings 5 and 6 are offset from one another in such a way that when the tube 4 is pulled out, the opening 6 lies outside the container and the opening 5 and the opening 3 are in the Tube 2 covers. The tube 4 is open at the bottom at 9 and at the top end with a Dek angle 7 which has an opening 8 for the inlet of air. As can be seen from FIG. 1, after the pipe 4 has been pulled out, the hose end 10 of a petrol pump or a funnel, etc. can be inserted into the opening 6, for example.
After filling, the tube 4 is pushed back in and the lid is tightened by means of the thread 11 on the nozzle 12. While driving, air penetrates through the opening 8 according to the gasoline consumption, and the gasoline level in the pipe 4 drops quickly until it is completely emptied, which prevents the gasoline from splashing against the cover and from escaping from the container. The tube 4 can be provided with a stop in order to limit the stroke of the tube 4 and / or to secure the angular position so that the openings 3 and 5 coincide. The opening 3 and the end 9 can be provided with sieves. It is clear that the above-mentioned disadvantages of the previous closures are eliminated with the container closure described.
