Ventilator.
Fan. The invention relates to a fan through which the medium flows with deflection.
The invention consists in the fact that the impeller is equipped with twisted blades, which is formed in the part near the axis like the blades of a centrifugal fan and which merges from this part into the blades of a screw fan by correspondingly bending the individual blades. The impeller can be closed, i. H. be ausgebil det with back and front wall, or open with only one rear wall, in the latter case, the front wall is fixed stationary in the housing. The invention thus represents a combination of centrifugal and axial fans.
The impeller according to the invention can be followed by a stator to divert the outlet flow, which has a more or less large tangential component, in an approximately axial direction or back towards a coaxial outlet opening that is substantially smaller than the impeller diameter. This latter stator arrangement is particularly suitable for two-stage and multi-stage fans using the impeller blade according to the invention.
Two exemplary embodiments of the subject of the invention are illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
Fig. 1 shows a fan with a closed impeller; Fig. 2 shows an open impeller fan; 3 shows the impeller blades of an open impeller; 4 shows an impeller in section and FIGS. 5-8 show sections on a larger scale along lines V-VIII in FIG.
The first embodiment according to Figure 1 has a closed, d. H. provided with a front and rear wall impeller 1, which sits on the shaft of a motor 2 and is surrounded by a cylindrical housing. In front of the impeller 1 there is a stationary housing suction wall 3 with an inlet nozzle 4. The support 5 of the motor 2 can possibly be designed as a diffuser. The direction of the twice deflected air or gas flow in the fan is illustrated by an arrow.
In the second embodiment according to FIGS. and 3 denotes 7 the impeller, which is open at the front and sits on a drive shaft 8. The stationary housing suction wall 3, which forms the suction-side closure of the impeller 7, is arranged in front of the impeller 7. A diffuser 9 located behind the impeller 7 causes the air or gas flow to be returned to the shaft B. In this arrangement, the fan can also be built in two or more stages.
In both designs, the impeller is provided with twisted blades, which in the part close to the axis corresponds to the blades of a centrifugal fan, but from this part changes into the blades of a screw fan when the individual blades are bent accordingly (Fig. 4- 8th).
The designs described suck in the medium axially and blow it out again in the axial direction; They allow higher pressures to be generated than was previously possible with screw fans and axial fans with the same external impeller diameters.
