Anlassventil an Brennkraftmasehinen.
Starting valve on internal combustion engines. The invention relates to a pressure gas inlet valve on Brennkraftma.schinen, which also serves as a check valve and which has a relief piston which is connected to the valve spindle in such a way that the relief piston and valve spindle can move relative to one another in the longitudinal direction,
wherein the relief piston is controlled during the starting of the control shaft of the machine and the pressure of the starting gas on the valve disc equalizes. Such valves act as non-return valves in that, by automatically closing, they prevent high compression pressures or ignitions from being propagated from the cylinder space of the machine into the starting air lines.
In the starting valve according to the invention, the tasks to be fulfilled are fulfilled with a very simple design, in that, according to the invention, the relief piston is designed as a piston which is closed against the outside air and not penetrated by the valve stem, with the valve stem connected to the valve head.
The drawing shows exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a machine cylinder provided with a first exemplary embodiment with the starting valve control in the working position, FIG. 2 the starting valve control in the rest position,
but with a different type of valve, FIG. 3 shows the head on the valve stem of FIG. 1 on a larger scale in three views, FIG. 4 shows a section along the line IV-IV of FIG. 1 through the relief piston.
The cylinder head 2 is attached to the cylinder 1 of the internal combustion engine. In the bore 3 of the cylinder head, the valve is guided by means of guide ribs 5 seen on its shaft 4. The shaft carrying the valve disk 4a has at its free end a head 6 which, by means of a bayonet lock, engages in the relief piston 8 not penetrated by the valve shaft, the latter also serving as a valve stem.
The relief piston 8 is guided in the same bore 3 as the valve stem 4 and is pressed upwards in the direction away from the valve stem 4 by means of the spring 22 engaging under its upper edge 9.
The relief piston 8 forming the ram is actuated by the rocker arm 10, which at 11 is rotatably seated on an adjustable eccentric 13 which is mounted in a support 12 fastened to the cylinder head 2. The rocker arm 10 is controlled by the cam 16 rotating with the control shaft 15 via the push rod 14.
The control shaft is driven in a manner not shown by the crankshaft of the machine, not shown, with a transmission ratio of 1: 1 or 1: 2.
On the eccentric, the switching lever 17 is attached, which is in Fig. 1 in its extreme position on the left, in Fig. 2 in its extreme position on the right. Corresponding to the positions of the lever 17, the pin 11 is in its lowest position in FIG. 1 and in its highest position in FIG. 2.
3 shows the head 6 of the valve stem on a larger scale. The head 6 has flat sides 18 and is formed in its part 19 as a square.
Two side surfaces of this square are flush with the surfaces 18 of the head. During the assembly of the relief piston 8 using the provided longitudinal displacement ge compared to the valve stem against the pressure of the spring 22 against the stop 20 presses ge, the head 6 pushed through the slot 21 in the bottom 7 of the relief piston 8 (Fig. 4), then rotated through <B> 90 '</B> and then released the spring 22.
The bottom 7 engages under the head 6 and the surfaces 23 of the square 19 lie against the flat sides 24 of the slot 21 so that the valve stem can no longer rotate. The length L of the square 19 is shorter than the distance between the edge 9 and the stop 20, but dimensioned so long that even with the deepest,
during the steer th movement of the relief piston 8 before the next position and with the valve closed, the square part 19 does not leave the slot 21 and thus its leadership. A rotation of the valve with respect to the tappet 8 and an undesired release of this bayonet lock is therefore not possible.
Since the game between the edge 9 and the stop 20 is greater than the length L of the square 19, can, as already described above, the connection of 6 and 8 both coupled and released.
Relief piston and valve stem are therefore connected to one another in such a way that they can move relative to one another in the longitudinal direction, the relative longitudinal displaceability of these parts in relation to one another being greater than the controlled stroke of the relief piston.
In Fig. 2, the relief piston 8 and valve stem 4 with valve head 4a be standing start valve is drawn in a slightly different implementation by the head 6 of the bayonet catch on the relief piston 8 instead of the stem 4 of the valve is det and the valve stem 4 with a hollow guide piston 26 is provided,
in the slotted bottom 7 of which the head 6 is inserted in the same way, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. With the help of the bores 27, a pressure equalization is created through the guide piston 26.
To start the machine 25 starting pressurized gas, z. B. compressed air admitted to the valve after the crankshaft of the machine has been brought into a suitable position for starting; the cam 16 assumes the position shown in dotted lines in FIG. 1.
The Ven valve initially remains closed by the pressure acting on the discharge piston 8 and the pressure of the spring 22. If the lever 17 is moved to the left, as shown in FIG. 1, whereby the pin 11 is lowered, the push rod 14 reaches the area of the cam 16 and is pushed upwards by the same,
whereby the piston 8 is moved downwards by means of the rocker arm 10 and the opening valve lets the compressed air into the cylinder. As soon as the control shaft rotates, the relief piston 8 is depressed once for each rotation of the control shaft 15, so that the valve is opened each time by the pressure of the air in the line 25.
If the mixture in the cylinder ignites during this opening period, it is easy to see that the valve returns to its seat 4b unhindered by the relief piston 8 and closes off the space 25 against the cylinder. As soon as the Zündun conditions have started, the lever 17 is turned to the right in the position shown in FIG. 2 and the compressed air supply to the supply line 25 is turned off.
As FIG. 2 shows, the bumper is moved out of the area of the cam 16.
