Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 205169.    Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines sauren Farb  stoffes der     Triphenylmethanreihe,    welches  dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man den       Triphenylmethanfarbstoff,    der durch     Konden-          säion    von 1     Mol        4.4'-Dichlorbenzophenon     mit 1     Mol        1-Isobutyl-2-p-chlorphenyl-4.6-          diinethylindol    erhältlich ist, mit     1-Metbyl-          amino-4-äthoxyberizolsulfonsäure    verschmilzt.

    Bei dieser Umsetzung tritt ein     Mol    des     Tri-          phenylmethanfarbstoffes    mit 2     Mol        Methyl-          aminoäthoxybenzolsulforisäure    in Reaktion.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    Das durch Kondensation von     4.4'-Di-          chlorbenzophenon    mit     1-Isobutyl-2-p-chlor-          phenyl-4.6-dimethylindol    erhältliche Kon  densationsprodukt wird etwa 6 Stunden lang  in wässerigem     Pyridin    mit überschüssiger 1  Methylamino-4-äthoxybenzolsulfonsäure (er  hältlich durch Sulfonieren von 1-Methylamino-         4-äthoxybenzol    mit der     3fachen    Menge kon  zentrierter Schwefelsäure bei 100-120  ) bei  etwa 100  C erhitzt, bis die Blaufärbung  nicht mehr zunimmt. Der so erhaltene saure  Farbstoff färbt Wolle und Seide in blauen  Tönen.

PATENTANSPRUCFI Verfahren zur Herstellung eines sauren Farbstoffes der Triphenylmethanreihe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1 Mol des Tripbenyl- methanfarbstoffes, der durch Kondensation von 1 Mol 4. 4'-Dichlorbenzophenon mit 1 Mol 1-Isobutyl-2-p-chlorphenyl-4. 6-dimethylindol erhältlich ist, mit 2 Mol 1-Methylamino-4- äthoxybenzolsulfonsäure verschmilzt.
