Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung einer neuen,     stickstoffhaltigen    organischen Verbindung.    Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Ver  fahren zur Herstellung einer neuen stick  stoffhaltigen     organischen    Verbindung, ge  eignet um     zelluloseartigen        Textilmaterialien     Affinität für     Säurewollfarbstoffe    zu     erteilen.     



  Gemäss der     Erfindung    wird     ss-Ureido-          äthylpyridinGhlorid    von der Formel       NH-CO-NH-CH2-CH2-N(CSHE)-Cl     durch Verbindung von     ss-Chloroäthylharn-          stoff    mit     Pyridin    hergestellt.  



  Der     ,B-Chloroäthylharnstoff    wird zweck  mässigerweise     in,    der Form     eines        Salzes    zu  geführt, z. B. in Form des     lIydroehlorides.     



  Wenn erwünscht, kann die     Reaktion    in  Gegenwart eines     Ilösungs-    oder     Verdünnungs-          mittels,    z. B. Alkohol, durchgeführt werden.  den.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  48 Teile ss -     Chloroäthylharnstoffhydro-          chlorid        werden    mit 90 Teilen     Pyridin    ver-         mischt    und     -unter    Umrühren während     zwei     Stunden auf<B>100'</B> C erhitzt. Hierauf     wird     abgekühlt, wobei     Kristalle        ausgeschieden     werden. Diese     werden        abfiltriert,    mit Azeton  gewaschen und getrocknet.

   Auf     diese        Weise          wird    :die neue     Verbindung,        ss-Ureidoäthyl-          pyridinharnstoffehloriderhalten.    Wenn aus  Äthanol     rekristallisiert,    wird dasselbe in der  Form von weissen hygroskopischen Kristallen  mit einem     Schmelzpunkt    bei 164' C     erhalten,     welche in Wasser und heissem Alkohol leicht;  in Äther,     Azeton    und Benzol nicht löslich       sind.
