Umstandskorsett.
Maternity corset. The invention relates to a maternity corset with two side parts and a constrictable, a width adjustment of the corset allowing, expediently about. elliptical frontal leaf.
This corset circumstance is characterized by the fact that an intermediate piece is provided between the front sheet and the side parts of the corset, which apart from a row of eyelets provided on its edge facing the front sheet, to which a similar row of eyelets is assigned on the corresponding edge of the front sheet, has connection means arranged along a line, which in turn are assigned mating connection means on the corresponding edge of the front sheet, the whole in such a way
that the corset can be brought into a narrow position by engaging these connecting and mating connection means and by pulling cords into the corresponding rows of laces in the front sheet and in the side parts in a wide position. As a result, as the pregnancy progresses and the resulting greater arching of the middle part of the lower abdomen, the whole body is supported evenly.
An embodiment of the subject invention is illustrated as an example in the drawing. They show: Fig. 1 the maternity corset in the display image in the position of use at the beginning of pregnancy, Fig. 2 in the expanded state, Fig. 3 in the diagram with greatly advanced pregnancy, Fig. 4 expanded in the disassembled state.
The corset according to FIGS. 1 to 4 consists of the two back or respectively connected by lacing f mitein other. Side parts r1, s1 and r2, s2, as well as the elliptical front sheet a with the usual body support .1e, through whose buckles m ', -in' the belt straps n 'attached to the back part,
n2 are adjustable. Suspenders are attached to the lower edges of the side parts s' and s = and the front sheet a.
The front sheet a has, with its curved longitudinal edges, a row of cream eyelets b 'respectively. b 'and is initially with one between each side part s' respectively. s 'and an inserted intermediate piece d' respectively. <I> d = </I> connected by a hook and loop fastener.
The intermediate piece d 'is firmly seated on the side part s' and is set on a sheet with adhesive e be running at the same time as one of the curved longitudinal edges of the front sheet a. It also has a row of eyelets b 'on the outer edge (Fig. 4). The intermediate piece dz, which is symmetrical with respect to the intermediate piece d ', has a row of hooks on the straight edge, with which it is hooked into the cling e' of the side part s2 when the corset is put on.
In addition, the intermediate piece d2 has a row of clips e3 along a crooked line and a row of eyelets b 'on the free edge. The front leaf a has ineen, near its longitudinal edges, hooks g ', g2.
At the beginning of pregnancy, the maternity corset is put together in the assembly of the parts according to Fig. 2 in the ver illustrative manner in Fig. 1 on the body, including the hooks and cling h, e ', the body part a with the side part s \ to be temporarily disconnected.
The front sheet a is here held at the intermediate pieces d ', d' = by the two hook and fastener fasteners g '' ', e' and g ', e (constriction). Towards the end of pregnancy, the front leaf a is secured by separating the hook and loop fasteners g \, e 'and g', <I> e </I> from the intermediate pieces d ',
d 'and therefore connected by the cords f', <I> f 2 </I> drawn through between the rows of lace eyelets b ', b' and b2, b 'in the position shown in FIG. 3 (widened position).
Due to the oval cut of the front sheet a with rows of eyelets b ', bz and the inner edge delimitation of the intermediate pieces <I> d', </I> d ', as well as the rows of eyelets b', b that follow these, the central area of the The body part is stronger than the part above and below, depending on the advanced degree of pregnancy, and the corset is given a precise fit over the full extent of the abdomen.
Instead of the connection between the front sheet a and intermediate pieces <I> d '</I> and d = by means of hooks and fasteners, a snap fastener or zipper can also be provided.
