Branch terminal for electrical lines. The invention relates to a branch clamp from electrical lines, in which at least one of the conductors is clamped by grooved terminal strips in a housing by means of this overlap the cover, whereby at least the side walls of the housing and cover are made thin-walled, the latter two are mutually displaceable and are stiffened ver by connected to the housing and the same comprehensive screw bracket, which at the same time directly absorb the clamping pressure emanating from the cover un.
In the drawing, three Ausfüh approximately examples of the invention from two clamps are shown.
As can be seen from the example shown in Fig. 1 in front and in Fig. 2 in side view, the terminal housing is designated with a, which z.
B. consists of thin-walled sheet steel and is U-shaped, as can be seen in particular from Fig. The housing a is used to accommodate the exchangeable terminal strips e, each of which has half the profile:
contains the conductor d to be clamped. In this example only two conductors are provided, so that three terminal strips e, e 'and e2 are sufficient, of which the bottom and top each have one, the middle two profile halves. The terminal strips with their conductors,
d in, housing, a stacked on top of one another (or in another embodiment also next to one another) @ and completely enclosing the conductors d, see Fig. 1.
The simultaneous clamping of all parts e, d stored within: the housing a takes place through the cover b, which is also thin-walled and on, the uppermost, something over the housing:
e protruding terminal strip e2 lies on. When the cover is tightened by means of the nuts to be placed on the screw bracket c: the conductors d are firmly pressed between their terminal strips and also, a considerable stiffening of the cover. he aims.
The Sühraubenbü, gel c (Dept. 1 and 3 ) encompass the housing on all three sides and are firmly connected to it, so that, despite the thin-walled design of the latter, a considerable stiffening of the same is achieved , the number of screw benbügel depends on the size and length of the housing.
In spite of its thin walls, the cover b has an increased strength compared to the known designs due to the S 8 screw clamps in adapted bulges and contributes significantly to the further stiffening of the clamp when pushed onto the housing a.
As a result of this high strength, the clamp can also be made of light metal.
Instead of replaceable terminal strips, it is possible that the bottom of the housing and the cover are firmly connected to the terminal strips or consist of one piece with them.
The ones in the. Fig. 1 to 6 illustrated embodiments are used to clamp men. two different conductors.
As can be seen from Fig. 4 in cross section and from Fig. 5 in side view, the lower terminal strip e is formed as a coupling part, which can take place in a variety of ways, for example in that it receives an approach f, which with the second terminal g is firmly and corrosion-proof connected.
The latter is used to clamp the copper line k and has a bolt h which is screwed into the shoulder f ; the terminal g can be designed in any way. The housing a of the main terminal is correspondingly cut out at the point of passage of the projection f, and since the cutout is arranged between the screw brackets c, none of the clamps occurs. Strength-reducing weakening.
In the case of terminals with a correspondingly long housing, several approaches f can branch off from one and the same terminal strip e. The example illustrated in Fig. (> Differs from the last described one in that the second terminal is not directly, but through an interstitial), it - in, which for example consists of a Copper rod can be connected to the main terminal.
The rod in is fixed by means of a thread, for example. associated with approach f. This embodiment has the advantage that the second terminal g comes to lie at a distance from the first and thereby facilitates the assembly of the copper conductor k in places that are difficult to access.
