Description
Gleitschutz an Leitern.
Anti-slip protection on ladders. The already known rubber feet, wel che on the foot ends of furniture are plugged on, are bound to certain size units, which limits the use of such feet. By the present invention, a slide protection is to be created on ladders, which can be attached to any sized foot ends of ladders.
According to the invention this is achieved in that adhesion studs are attached to the foot ends of the ladder bars by means of fastening organs.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown. 1 shows the lower part of a ladder provided with adhesion studs, FIG. 2 shows the foot end of a ladder stile provided with an adhesion stud on a larger scale, and FIG. 3 shows a side view of FIG.
The ladder anti-skid shown be available from adhesion studs of rectangular or square basic shape made of rubber, the undersides of which are provided with ribs 2 or other edge-forming bumps to increase the adhesion. Each rubber stud 1 is penetrated by a metal or iron band 3, the ends of which protrude on both sides over the rubber stud 1 and are each provided with a hole 4 for screws or nails. The fastening tape 3 is slightly flexible,
so that when its ends are bent, it can be adapted to the diameter of the foot end to which the adhesion stud is to be attached. The ends of the fastening tape are bent upwards and anchored to the foot ends of the ladder rails by means of visual screws or nails inserted through the bore 4.
The adhesion studs can also have a round basic shape and can be fastened in the face of the foot ends of the ladder rails by means of screws or nails introduced from the underside. Instead of rubber, of course, another material that has proven to be good anti-slip properties due to its shape or texture could be used.
