Description

Schie bers 6 in Verbindung steht.

   Gleichzeitig kehrt die Platte     1\l        in.     ihre, den Münzkanal     verschliessende    Lage  zurück und im weiteren     trifft    das Ende     3',1'     des Schlitzes     3,1        wieder    auf den Stift     30;

Self-seller with inserting device for different types of coins. The self-sellers for coins of different values, such as those used for the sale of electricity, are in the means that cause the transfer of the value of the respective thrown 3-five to the default work:, complicated and these means are expensive because they have to be milled or pressed into a shape.

The invention enables a self-seller to be created who does not have the disadvantage mentioned.

According to the invention, a locking means and a resilient connection is provided for transferring the value of the coin brought into the self-seller to the organ with the actuation button of the self-seller and also allows the locking means controlled by the coin by a relative movement between him and the organ of the latter

Rotation that corresponds to the value of the coin inserted. The drawing shows several Ausfüh approximately examples of the subject of the invention.

Fig. 1 shows a first example graphically, parts of the self-seller mechanism are shown for the sake of easier understanding, which do not belong to the invention, and the physical relationships of the individual parts and their arrangement to each other are neglected; FIGS. 2 and 6 show detailed variants, and FIG. 4 illustrates, purely schematically, a further exemplary embodiment.

Outside a wall 1 of the self-seller housing on the end of a shaft 2 there is a rotary knob 6 which is used to operate the self-seller after a coin has been inserted. A coupling piece 4 is loosely rotatably seated on the shaft 2 and is connected via a gear 5 the toothed edge of an inside on the wall 1 out. Slide 6 is connected.

The slide 6 is in the ready position of the self-seller mechanism above a coin slot 7 provided in the wall 1,

wel cher slot is completed by a pivot member 8 in this position. The pivot member 8 is located in a bounded by side walls 9. Coin channel and, by means of a bolt 11 that is fixed to it and protruding from the coin channel through a slot 1.0, interacts with a ratchet wheel 12 which:

forms part of a coupling sleeve 13 which is seated non-rotatably but displaceably on the shaft 2. The coupling sleeve 131 engages in .der standby position with a nose 14 in a slot 15 of the coupling piece 4. A pin 16 firmly seated on the shaft 2 controls the falling out. Plate 17 allowing the coin from the coin channel.

The pivot member 8 is rotatable at 1 & and has an arm 19 which acts by means of a bolt 20 on the bent end of a pull rod 21 . A rake 2 2 is attached to this pull rod 2.1, which has three different deep cuts 2, 3, 2: 4 and 25.

On the shaft 2, a toothed segment 26 is firmly seated, which drives a damping in the form of a wind vane 2: 7 and is connected by a spring 28 with a face plate 29 arranged loosely on the shaft 2.

A pin 30 fixed on the faceplate 219 protrudes into a slot 31 of the toothed segment 26 and, by striking the end 31 'of this slot, limits the rotation of the faceplate 2: 9 caused by the spring 28 relative to the faceplate Tooth segment 26, that is to say by means of the pin 30, the face plate 2.9 is adjusted to the tooth segment 26. The face plate 29 has a stop edge 32 and three lugs 33, 34 and 3, 5 which are on different radii, namely the one 33 on the smallest, the one 34 on the middle and the one 35 on the largest.

The rake 22 is in the ready position under the influx of a spring 36, which holds a pin 37 inserted in the pull rod 21 against a bearing part 38 of the pull rod 21, with its rightmost prongs in the plane of the face plate 29 close to its stop edge 32 .

The face plate 29 carries a spring pawl 39 which engages in a ratchet wheel 40. This ratchet wheel 40 is firmly connected to a gearwheel 42 by a hub 41. The hub 41 itself sits loosely rotatably on the shaft 2. Under the influence of a spring 43, an adjusting pin 44 engages in the gear 42i and it is connected by a gear 45 with the so-called default shaft 46 of the self-seller.

A spring 47 .sucht to always bring the shaft 2 into the position shown respectively. to keep them in it and this position is determined by a stop. Another stop limits the rotation of the shaft 2 in a tensioning of the spring 47 correspond to the direction of rotation. Both attacks are not shown in the drawing.

The exemplary embodiment described is intended for coins of three different denominations and adapted to the English coin system, the different denominations being a penny, a sigpence and a shilling.

If, for example, a penny is brought into the self-seller through the coin slot 7, the latter swivels the swivel element B. so far that the bolt 2 @ 0, the pull rod 211 with the rake 2'2. by so much ver shifts that the incision 23 comes to lie in the plane of the face plate 29. The pivoting of the member 8 also has a decoupling of the part 4 from the coupling sleeve 13 result in that the bolt 1-1 moves the sleeve 1,3 against the action of a spring 48 on the shaft 2 and thereby the nose 14 out of the slot 15 moved out.

This uncoupling results in the closure of the coin slot 7 by the slide 6 and this, together with the plate 17 and the pivot member 8, provides the exact setting of the rake 22 to the diameter of the inserted coin, that is, as mentioned, the penny piece.

If the actuating button 3 is now rotated in the direction of arrow 49, i.e. against the action of the spring 47, the face plate 29 moves with its stop edge 32 into the incision 2, 3 until the nose 33 is at the bottom of the incision 23 on the rake 22, hits and the face plate 2.9 arrested.

The face plate 29 has switched the default shaft 46 according to the value of a penny piece until the nose 33 hits the rake 22 by means of the parts 39, 40, 42 and 45, i.e. registered the value of the introduced coin in the default mechanism. When the shaft 2 continues to rotate, which now, since an arm 6 'of the slide 6 prevents reverse rotation by engaging the ratchet wheel 12, can only take place in the direction of the arrow 49, the pin 16 releases the plate 17 and it swivels laterally below the coin channel so that the coin falls out of the latter.

As the shaft 2 continues to rotate, the pin 30 of the faceplate 29 slides in the slot 3.1 do) s toothed segment 26 and this tensions the spring 28, which is a flexible connection of the toothed segment with the faceplate. that is, approximately after this has made half a turn, the nose 14 engages again in the slot 15 and the stop limiting the rotation of the shaft 5 in the direction of the arrow 49 prevents further rotation in this direction.

If the button .3 is released, the spring 47 rotates the shaft 2 back, where the slide 6 is lifted and the coin slot 7 is released again. To turn back the shaft 2 is counter to: the locking effect of the wheel 12th by fol lowing device which, because it does not belong to the invention, is not shown, achieved. For the uTelle 2. there is a stop that limits the rotation of the shaft when the coin is passed through. If this stop is reached, so. If the arm 6 'is close to the tip of a tooth of the wheel 12, the tooth gap of which, to the disadvantage of that of the adjacent tooth, is larger than the gaps in the teeth after the division of the ratchet wheel, on this tooth.

The teeth of this ratchet wheel are only slightly deep, so that when the button 3 is turned backwards: the slide 6 through the wheel 5 until the flank of the next tooth comes into the movement path of the arm 6 @ is raised so high that this arm is already lies outside the range of the teeth of the ratchet wheel 12.

   At the same time, the plate returns to its position that closes the coin channel, and the end 3 ', 1' of the slot 3, 1 again meets the pin 30;

and takes the face plate 29 back to its original position, the pawl spring 39 ratcheting over the ratchet 40. At. When the face plate 20 is turned back, it releases the incision 23 so that the spring 36i can push the rake 22 back into its original position.

Due to its dampening effect on the movement of the self-seller mechanism, the wind vane 27 prevents the self-seller mechanism from being activated too quickly when the button 3 is turned by hand, on the one hand, when the self-seller is switched on, and on the other hand prevents the backward movement of the shaft 2 under the action of the Spring 47 hard blows when regaining the position of readiness.

By introducing a piece of shilling into the self-seller, the rake 22 is displaced by so much that its incision 24 comes to lie in the plane of the face plate 29. When the shaft 2 is subsequently rotated in the direction of the arrow 49, the face plate 2'9, which guides the rake 22 through the incision 2'4, is locked with the nose 35 on the rake, that is to say after the front shaft 46 has been correspondingly the value of a shilling has been adjusted.

If an included coin does not correspond to any of the three 'values for which the self-seller built or is set up, that is, the diameter of which deviates by more than a permissible tolerance given by the width of the incisions 213 to 215, the stop edge 32 abuts the rake 221 at the beginning of the rotation of the shaft 2 by means of the button 3 , de, this is displaced by this coin so much that one part of it comes into the plane of the faceplate 2.9,

where none of the incisions 23, 24, 25 is located. When the shaft 2 continues to rotate, the rotation of the Zahnseg Mentes 26 only affects the spring 28, which is tensioned here. The coin is consequently passed through without its value being transferred to the default shaft 46.

The rake 22 could also be movable in other ways, it could also be pivotable, as the variants according to FIGS. 2 and 13 show.

According to 'Fig. 21, the rake 221 is designed as a segment arm of the pivoting member 8 and a face plate 29' is horizontal instead of vertical as in the first embodiment. The faceplate 29 'corresponds in its design to that 29 of the first embodiment and otherwise works with incisions 23, 24, 25 of the segment rake 22 just like the rake 22 with the faceplate 29 according to the first embodiment.

The face plate 29 'is through an angular gear 50 in the same way with one on the Actuate transmission shaft of the self-seller. seated member, as it is that 2ss of the first exemplary embodiment, think connected.

According to Fig. 3, the rake 22 is arranged on the side of the pivot member 8 and a face plate 29 ″ sits on a horizontal shaft that is connected by a gear with the loading actuating shaft of the self-seller in the same way as the face plate 29 with the shaft 2 according to the first exemplary embodiment. The face plate 29 ″ and the rake 22 are also designed in the same way as the analogous parts of the first exemplary embodiment.

Instead of a rake, however, another means could take over its function. So, as the execution example according to FIG. 4 shows, with one of the face plate 29 of the first Ausführungsbei game appropriately trained. Plane disk 29 '' 'together a pivot tongue 51. This pivot tongue 51 forms a rigid whole with a lever 53 rotatable at 52 and is controlled by a cam track 54 against which the lever 53 rests with a roller 55.

The cam track 54 forms the free end of a lever 56 which is firmly connected to the pivot member 8.

In the standby position, the pivot tongue 51 is in the path of the nose 33 '. If a penny is brought into the self-seller, the tongue 51 is temporarily swiveled out by the cam track 54, but returns to the starting position, since the roller 55 comes to rest on a part 54 'of the cam track 54, which is approximately on the Radius is on which the roller 55 is in the ready position.

During the subsequent rotation of the shaft 2 'of the face plate 2' @ 9 "'which is identical to the shaft 2 of the first exemplary embodiment, its nose 33' hits the tongue 51 and is locked by it. During this movement of the face plate 29" " As in the first exemplary embodiment, this transfers the value of the penny piece to the default work of the self-seller.

If a Sigpenee piece is introduced, the cam track 54 swivels the tongue 51 out by so much that when the faceplate 29 '' is turned, its nose 34 'hits the tongue 51. If, on the other hand, a shilling is introduced, the tongue 5 becomes 1 swiveled into the path of the nose 3.5 '.

In order to make incorrect coins ineffective for the self-seller with regard to the registration on the default work in this embodiment, a sensing device is provided which has a star wheel 57 and a link 58. The star wheel 57 has three arms in accordance with the setup of the self-seller for coins of three different values and sits on a toothed wheel 59,

which engages in a toothed segment 60 arranged on the lever 53. The link 58 forms one end of a double lever 61, at the other end of which .ein engages a rod 62 which connects the double lever 61 with a locking lever 6,4 rotatable at 6: 3. The locking lever 64 interacts with a locking wheel 65 which is firmly connected to the face plate 29 "'.

If a coin brought into the self-seller corresponds to one of the coin values for which the device is intended, one of the arms of the star wheel 57 is located in the lowest point of the gate 58 after the coin has been inserted, and the locking lever 64 releases the locking wheel 65, so that the shaft 2 'can be rotated.

In contrast, a coin introduced into the self-seller does not correspond to any of the coins. for which the apparatus is intended, so when the lever 53 is pivoted, the star wheel 57 comes through the cam track 54 into a position in which at least one arm of the star wheel rests against a higher part of the backdrop, so that the double lever 61 against the Effect of a spring 66 is pivoted and the locking lever .64 engages in the ratchet wheel 65, thus preventing rotation of the faceplate 2.9 "'.

The use of a locking means, as it is the rake 22: bezw. represents the pivot tongue 51, which cooperates with a transmission organ, such as the faceplate 29, 2, 9 ', 29 "and 29"', that @ by a relative movement between the locking means and the transmission organ is allowed to rotate the latter equivalent to the value of the in the.

Self-sellers brought in. Coin, enables the apparatus especially in these; Keeping funds very simple; both the locking means and the transmission element can each be made from a simple punched piece.
