Kraftmasehine.
Kraftmachine. In the known engine with a movable piston in a cylinder, the movements of which are carried on a shaft, leads. the piston makes straight movements, which are converted into a rotary movement by means of a crank mechanism.
The object of the invention is a power machine with a piston moving in a housing, which differs from the known designs in that the piston is rigidly connected to the machine shaft and runs in an annular space, with a space in the annular space between an inlet opening and an outlet opening for the propellant protruding slide, which at this point only releases the annular space cross-section during the piston passage,
the annular space is divided into a working space on one side of the piston and an extension space on the other side of the piston. It goes without saying that with this machine the mechanical losses can be reduced to a very low level, so that with an extremely favorable one.
Fuel consumption can be expected; Another economic downfall compared to the normal piston engine is the almost complete elimination of mass accelerations; which at the same time it is a low-vibration run and thus an increase in the service life of the machine it is aimed at. Finally, the entire structure of the machine is considerably simplified due to the lack of any transmission means between the piston and the shaft.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is schematically represented.
Fig. 1 shows a section through the Ma machine parallel to the machine shaft, Fig. 2 shows a section according to Ä-B in Fig. 1. There is an annular bead a, which is divided in a perpendicular to the plane of rotation ge and held together by a flange connection b annular Machine housing c is arranged, which is double-walled, so that a cavity d arises around the annular bulge wall for the flow of cooling water.
With the space enclosed by the housing c, in the axis of which the machine shaft e lies, the annular space x guiding the piston is through a housing slot that is offset several times; connected, which is filled by the ring i provided with sealing the rings i of a wheel disk g rotating with the machine shaft e, which extends up to the piston raceway and inside the Annular space which is formed as an annular bead sector piston k carries.
The housing c is also provided with an attachment l, in which a disk -rz with a shaft m in an axis perpendicular to the cylinder axis. (Fix. 2) rotatably ge is superimposed, which cuts through the annular space x in its full cross-section and puts together with the piston k into two parts zer. The disk n is provided with some openings o which, when rotated by the cylinder, temporarily release the cylinder cross-section so that the piston k can be moved through.
Close in front of and behind the disk n, which acts as a slide, the cylinder has two openings p and q, whereby the opening q (Fix. 2 left) serves as an inlet opening for the mixture and is controlled by a valve, while the opening q ( Fix. 2 right) as an outlet opening for the. Exhaust serves and has no lei control organs. At a ge know distance from the inlet opening p in the direction of movement of the piston in the annular space x of the ignition element s, for example, a spark plug is arranged.
The control of the slide disk n takes place from the power shaft e, via a toothed gear t, 2c, v, qv, x '. y (Fix. 1) in such a way that the disk n is only rotated with each revolution of the machine shaft e until one of its openings o has passed the annular space cross-section to allow the piston to pass through.
This interrupted switching of the slide n, which saves unnecessary frictional losses, is made possible by the fact that the gear wheel sitting on the machine shaft e has only a single tooth, which is the multi-toothed (in drawn case) games corresponding to the number of slides openings o three-toothed)
Wheel x "is held a little further after each revolution of the machine shaft. The disk fa can also be rotated continuously with the machine shaft e at the same speed, in which case the disk only has a single opening o. Instead of the rotating slide The sealing rings z of the piston Ir are, as FIG. 2 shows, made somewhat wider than the latter with regard to the cylinder slot leading the slide disk n.
The mode of operation of the motor described is as follows: In the dot-dashed position I, the piston Tc running in the direction of the arrow (Fix. 2) has left the valve opening and the slide n has closed behind him. When you continue to rile, the piston opens the inlet port p, the valve r of which is raised at the same time, so that the mixture can be brought into the annular space x by means of a special conveying device, for example a compressor (not shown).
The mixture delivery in the annular space, that is, the valve r is kept open, continues until the piston has reached the position II, shown in a solid line, in which it has also exposed the ignition element s. As soon as the mixture delivery is stopped, the ignition comes into action and causes the mixture between the piston, the valve r and the slide in the cylinder to explode.
As a result of the increase in pressure and the subsequent expansion, the piston is driven further and returns to the initial position marked I with a simultaneous power output to the machine shaft e via the dot-dashed position III, at which the slide begins to open -fit .
While moving from position I to position III, the piston simultaneously pushes the burned glasses located in the annulus through the opening q. A flywheel sitting on the machine shaft e produces the power compensation required for a steady operation of the Ilia machine.
The idea of the invention can be transferred to compressed air motors, steam engines, mass motors and similar power machines.
