Antriebseinrichtung an verschiebbaren Wagenverdecken.
Drive device on sliding car roofs. The subject of the present invention is a drive device on movable car tops, in which the bow feet are guided in tracks arranged on the side walls of the car and a chain without end is provided for moving the bow, which is in a U-shaped rail in a horizontal plane is guided, the guides for the bow feet in the leg parts and the drive on the web part of this rail are arranged.
In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei is shown game of the subject invention; therein: Fig. 1 is a plan view of the entire drive device and Fig. a cross section through the guide rail; 3 and 4 are two side views of a bow foot with the supports and Trä like the bow, not shown, Fig. 5 is an associated bottom view; Fig. Fr and 7 are a top and bottom view of the chain-coupled front most bow foot; Fig. 8 is a bottom view of the drive motor with crank disk and Fig. 9 is a side view of the associated crank, Fig. 10 is a bottom view of a storage device, and Fig. 11 is a plan view of a hand winch.
To guide the chain 1, the Antriebsein direction is shown in Fig. 1 is a zontal plane in a Hori U-shaped extending rail 2 of a substantially U-shaped cross section. The leg parts of this rail lie on the side walls of the car and the NEN to guide the bow feet 3, while the web part of the rail the drive 4 and a storage device: 5 is used as Aufstel location. To guide the two strands of the endless chain 1 in the rail 2, the sole of this rail is designed in the shape of FIG. 2 and bars 6 are provided on the side legs of the rail.
In addition, the upper edges of the named side legs are bent inward and form the upper raceways 7 for since Lich: the arches mounted guide rollers B. According to Fig. 3, 4 and 5, the arches have U-profile pieces 10 with at their ends th cross pins 9 inserted through the legs, the pin part located between .den legs serving as a hinge axis for the bow supports 11 made of spring steel strip, while the ends protruding over the legs carry the aforementioned roles 8. The cross pins are .den legs in slots 12 ge leads so that they can be moved in the vertical direction with a little play.
As un direct guidance of the bow feet, rollers 13 are provided, which are mounted with neck bearings in the middle of the U-profile pieces and run on the surface of the T-shaped sole of the rail 2. Springs 15 are supported against the shaft ends 14 of these rollers protruding slightly outward over the legs of these pieces 10, the ends of which press between the legs and the rollers on the axles of these rollers in order to rest on the raceways? to make elastic. Each one of the supports 11 carries the bow support 16 with the bow peg 17 with a support of the neighboring mirror.
The described formation of the bow feet is as smoothly as possible and yet safe guidance of these parts he aims, all the more so because the side of the U-profile pieces of the bow feet between the inner edges of the webs 7 leads only very loosely ge.
While the rearmost bow is held firmly, the foremost bow of the two sides of the car is coupled to the chain. This is caused on the one hand by two ver elongated hinge pins 18 which protrude from the chain strand in question and on the other hand by a plate 20 engaging with corresponding bores 19 in these pins, which is screwed ver with the concerned arched foot body by means of screws 21. These screws are exposed at the top and can therefore easily be removed from the coupling between the chain and the bows by loosening these screws.
This bow foot used for coupling has, in addition to the four guide rollers 8, two rollers 13 which are separated by a central piece 22 rigidly connecting the two U-shaped profile pieces. This special embodiment of the front bow foot coupled with the chain is necessary because of the coupling point with the chain to the side of the foot in order to prevent distortion of the bow foot.
To drive the chain, an electric motor 23 is provided which is built into a frame 24 which is screwed onto the underside of the rail 2 in a manner similar to the hand winch shown in FIG. The frame 2'4 is screwed by means of screws 25 onto a frame part 27 provided with a cut-out .2161 receiving the rail 2. The hollow axle 28 of a crank disk 29 is mounted in the frame 24.
This axis also carries the chain wheel, which is not shown but is arranged in a manner similar to that in FIG. 11 and which actuates the chain drive. An axially displaceable pin 30 protruding from the crank disk is inserted into the hollow axis of rotation.
This carries by means of slits of the hollow shaft 2'8 penetrating arms, not shown, meshing with the drive wheel of the electric motor, an axially acting spring, also not shown, keeps this toothed ring in engagement with the drive wheel of the electric motor. By pushing in the pin protruding from the crank disk, the crank disk with the chain drive would be switched off from the electric motor. This can be effected by a hand crank 31 according to FIG. 9, which has a wedge surface 32 and a pawl 33.
The crank disk 29 has an upright edge 34 and outside this edge a flange 36 provided with 24 holes 35. In the edge slots 37 are provided for inserting the crank 31 through. If the crank is now inserted from the outside through one of these openings until the pawl falls into one of the slots, the wedge surface 32 .der crank pushes the pin 30 back and switched the chain drive to manual mode.
Instead of an electric motor, a hand winch according to FIG. 11 could also be provided for unclamping and folding the top, which is screwed with a footplate 24 'through the screws 251 onto the frame part 2:71 provided with a cutout 26'. As shown, the drive sprocket 38 comes into engagement with the chain 1 guided in the rail 2.
With the electric motor, an automatic shutdown device for this motor is also connected. On a ver screwed to the rail 2 rail 39 is a screw spindle 40 with a running contact 44 formed from, guided on the rail 39 nut 41 is mounted. The spindle 43 is in drive connection with the chain drive by means of an angle drive 42 and a pinion, not shown, meshing with the chain. It has just as many usable screw threads as the chain's drive wheel needs to pull out the convertible top. On the rail 39, two in the area of the running contact 44 lying interrupter contacts 45 are arranged. These interrupt the motor circuit when they come into contact with contact 44.
To start the engine, the contact 44 must first be released from the relevant contact 45 by means of manual operation by the cure 31.
