Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Farbstoffes    der     Galloeyaninreihe.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu wert  vollen Farbstoffen :der     Gallocyaninreihe    ge  langt, wenn man     Gallussäure    oder deren De  rivate, wie     Gallamid,        Gallanilid,        Gallussäure-          ester    oder auch     Pyrogallol    und Abkömmlinge  dieser Körper, mit     Nitrosoverbindungen    se  kundärer oder tertiärer aromatischer Amine  der allgemeinen Formel:

    kondensiert, worin R Wasserstoff,     Alkyl,          Oxalkyl,        Sulfalkyl    oder     Aralkyl    bedeutet.  



  Die so erhaltenen Farbstoffe können ge  gebenenfalls nach .den bei der Herstellung  von Farbstoffen der     Gallocyaninreihe    übli  chen Methoden in weitere Derivate über  geführt werden, zum Beispiel durch Ab  spaltung der     Carboxylgruppe,    Reduktion zu       Leukofarbstoffen,    Kondensation mit Mono  oder Diaminen oder deren     Sulfonsäuren,       mit Aldehyden,     Phenolen,        Naphtholen    oder       Naphtholsulfonsäuren.    Die nach diesen Ar  beitsweisen     gewonnenen    Produkte können  nötigenfalls noch einer nachträglichen     Sul-          fonierung    unterworfen werden.

    



  Die so erhältlichen Farbstoffe zeichnen sich  durch eine besonders für Druckfarbstoffe  erwünschte vorzügliche Löslichkeit, durch  Klarheit des Farbtones und durch gute Echt  heitseigenschaften aus.  



  Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen  Farbstoffes der     Gallocyaninreihe    durch Kon  densation von     Gallamid    mit     Nitrosophenyl-          benzyltaurin.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  17     Gewichtsteile        Gallamid    werden in  300     Gewichtsteilen        95%igem    Alkohol heiss  gelöst, und in die Lösung werden 48 Ge  wichtsteile     Nitrosophenylbenzyltaurin    einge  tragen in dem Masse, wie die Gelbfärbung  verschwindet. Der Farbstoff der Formel;

    fällt aus. Er besitzt als Alkali- oder Am  moniumsalz eine vorzügliche Löslichkeit und  gibt auf Baumwolle     mittelst    Chrombeize ge  druckt sehr gleichmässige, blaue Töne von  guter Licht-, Chlor- und Seifenechtheit.

  The subject of the present patent is a process for the preparation of a new dye of the gallocyanin series by condensation of gallamide with nitrosophenyl benzyl taurine.



  <I> Example: </I> 17 parts by weight of gallamide are dissolved in 300 parts by weight of 95% alcohol, and 48 parts by weight of nitrosophenylbenzyltaurine are added to the solution as the yellow coloration disappears. The dye of the formula;

PATENT CLAIM Process for the preparation of a new dye of the gallocyanin series, characterized in that gallamide is condensed with nitrosopheneylbenzyltaurine. The resulting dye contains a sulfo group in the side chain. As an alkali or ammonium salt, it has excellent solubility and, by means of chrome stain, gives very even, blue prints of good fastness to light, chlorine and soap when printed on cotton.
