Ski-Schuh mit Zehenballenriemen. Beim Skifahren spielt das sogenannte Kanten der Ski eine grosse Rolle; so zum Beispiel beim Christianiaschwung, beim Ein leiten des Telemarkschwunges, beim ein seitigen Stemmfahren, beim doppelseitigen Pflugfahren und besonders auch beim Quer fahren am Hang auf hartem Schnee. Das Kanten besteht in der Verlegung des Gewichtes nach der einen Seitenhante der Lauffläche des Skis hin durch Entlasten der andern Seitenkante desselben Skis.
Es wird bewirkt durch Heben des über der zu entlastenden Skikante liegenden Fussrandes; rillt dem Fussrand hebt sich der betreffende Seitenrand des Schuhes und mit dem Schuh rand die Skikante.
Es leuchtet ein, dass das Kanten umso besser gelingt, je weniger Spiel zwischen Ski und Schuh und zwischen Schuh und Fuss besteht. Jedes Spiel erschwert die Be herrschung des Skis und macht das Fahren ermüdend. Das Spiel zwischen Schuh und Ski kann durch richtiges Einpassen des Schuhes in die Skibacken vermieden werden. Das Spiel zwischen Fuss und Schuh hinge gen ist nicht so leicht zu verhindern. Es ist umso geringer, je straffer der Fuss vom Oberschuh auf der Schuhsohle gehalten wird.
Der Idealzustand wäre die absolute Unmög lichkeit, den einen oder den andern Fussrand, ganz besonders den Seitenrand des Vorder fusses zu heben, ohne nicht in genau glei chem Masse, also ohne jedes Spiel, den Schuh sohlenrand mitzuheben. Praktisch wird dieser Idealzustand mit den bis jetzt bekannten Skischuhen jedoch deshalb nicht erreicht, weil der Oberschuh nicht in einem zweck genügenden Masse knapp sein darf, da dies das Gehen so gut wie verunmöglichen würde. Auch pflegen die Schuhe sich im Gebrauch auszuweiten und ihre anfängliche Knapp heit zu verlieren.
Ein genügend starkes Straffen des Oberschuhes wäre allerdings zu erreichen, indem man die Schnürurig bis zu den Zehenwurzeln verlängern würde, wie das schon bei andern Sportschuhen gemacht wird; dies hätte aber den Nachteil, dass je- weilen vor und nach der Abfahrt die ganze Schuhschnürung gelöst und frisch genestelt werden müsste.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt nun, eine genügende Straffung des Oberschuhes unter Umgehung des erwähnten Nachteils zu ermöglichen. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Skischuh, der in der Gegend des Zehenballens beim rechten und linken Soh lenrand je mindestens einen quer über den Oberschuh gegen den andern Sohlenrand hin verlaufenden- Riemen aufwärts, welche Riemen eine Zusammenzieh- und Festmach vorrichtung besitzen, womit der Oberschuh in der Gegend des Zehenballens straff auf dem Vorderfuss und der Vorderfuss straff auf der Schuhsohle gehalten werden können.
Die Riemen können mit Vorteil bei der Sohle breiter sein und sich gegen die Schuh mitte hin verjüngen, damit die Vorrichtung zum Zusammenziehen und Festmachen klein und einfach sein kann. Diese Zusammenzieh und Festmachvorrichtung könnte aus einer Schnalle, einem Schloss, einer Schnüreng oder dergleichen bestehen.

The play between boot and ski can be avoided by correctly fitting the boot into the ski jaws. The play between foot and shoe, on the other hand, is not so easy to prevent. The tighter the foot is held by the upper on the shoe sole, the less it is.
The ideal situation would be the absolute impossibility of lifting one or the other edge of the foot, especially the side edge of the forefoot, without lifting the sole edge of the shoe to the same extent, i.e. without any play. In practice, however, this ideal state is not achieved with the ski boots known up to now because the upper shoe must not be short enough for a purpose, since this would make walking as good as impossible. Shoes also tend to expand with use and lose their initial scarcity.
A sufficiently strong tightening of the upper shoe could, however, be achieved by extending the cord to the roots of the toes, as is already done with other sports shoes; but this would have the disadvantage that the entire shoe lacing would have to be loosened and freshly nested before and after departure.
The present invention now aims to enable the upper shoe to be tightened sufficiently while avoiding the disadvantage mentioned. The subject of the invention is a ski boot, which in the area of the ball of the toe at the right and left soles edge each at least one across the upper shoe against the other edge of the sole extending straps upwards, which straps have a tightening and fastening device, with which the upper shoe in the area of the ball of the toe can be kept taut on the forefoot and the forefoot can be kept taut on the sole of the shoe.
The straps can advantageously be wider at the sole and taper towards the middle of the shoe so that the device for pulling together and fastening can be small and simple. This tightening and fastening device could consist of a buckle, a lock, a lacing or the like.
