In Grossküchen, in denen sich an den einzelnen Herden eine grössere Zahl von Kochstellen befinden, die von mehreren Kö chen bedient werden, wird es als sehr stö rend empfunden, dass aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen die einzelnen Kochstellen so nahe aneinander gelegt werden müssen, dass die Köche sich gegenseitig behindern. Während an den Längsseiten des Herdes der Platz sehr beengt ist, ist an .den Ecken viel Platz vorhanden, kann aber nicht ausgenützt wer den. Der Nachteil der Ungleichmässigkeit in der Ausnutzung der Herdfläche ist ver bunden mit dem Nachteil grossen Material aufwandes.
Auf die Herdfläche berechnet, ist also ein rechteckiger Herd verhältnis mässig teuer.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein elek trisch beheizter Küchenherd, insbesondere für Grossküchen, bei dem die vorgenannten Mängel dadurch behoben werden sollen, dass die Herdpla.ite runde Form hat und der

Um den Köchen zu ermöglichen, bequem nahe an den Herd heranzutreten, ist der Fuss 33 des Herdes gegen den Rand der Herdplatte, der durch die Herdstange 19 gebildet wird, zurückgesetzt. Die Herdplatte 18 wird von einem aus Profileisen 24 ge bildeten Gestell getragen, das oberhalb des Standfusses 33 durch Ringe 30 aus Profil eisen und unterhalb der Herdplatte 18 durch einen Blechring 20 zusammengehalten wird.
Die Profileisen 2'4 bilden die Grundform für den Standfuss', gehen senkrecht in die Höhe, entsprechend der Standsäule, biegen dann nach aussen und wieder nach oben ab, so dass sie einen Hohlraum für die Sammel- schieren 29 und die Verbindungsleitungen des Gehäuses umschliessen.
Die Zahl der beispielsweise U-förmigen Profileisen 24 des Gestelles ist beliebig. Die obern Enden der Profileisen 24 des Gestelles dienen zum Tragen einer Auffang platte 22, welche die Kochplatten 11 und 12 des Herdes trägt, Auf -der Auffangplatte ruht die Herdplatte 1.8, die durch kurze Winkeleisenstücke 17 gegenüber der Auf fangplatte 22 in ihrer Lage festgelegt ist. In dem Raum unterhalb der Auffang platte sind an Isolierstücken 28 vier ring förmige Sammelschienen 29 blank verlegt, die mittelst des Zuführungskabels 32 an die Stromquelle angeschlossen sind.
Von den Sammelschienen gehen blank verlegte Lei tungen 2,6 zu Metallwinkeln 25 der Koch platten 11, wo sie mittelst Flügelmuttern festgeschraubt sind, und zu den Regelschal tern 2'l. Der Raum unterhalb der Herd platte ist ohne weiteres zugänglich, wenn der Blechmantel 2'7, der aus einzelnen Ble chen besteht, durch Lösen der Schrauben 23 abgenommen wird. Die Herdplatte 18 ist nach oben abnehmbar, ebenso die Auffang platte 22, vorausgesetzt, dass die Leitungen 26 von den Metallwinkeln 25 gelöst sind.
Unterhalb jeder Kochplatte hat die Auf- fangplatte 22 Löcher 16, deren Ränder 15 nach oben gebördelt sind. Diese Aufbörde- lungen reichen ganz oder fast bis zu den Kochplatten 11, deren Lage auf der Auf fangplatte durch angeschraubte Winkel en 14 festgelegt ist.
Die Aufbördelungen an den Löchern 16 und die Aufbiegung am äussern Umfang der Auffangplatte sind so hoch, dass die Auf fangplatte überlaufende Flüssigkeit auf nehmen kann. Für den Ablauf dieser Flüs sigkeit ist die Auffangplatte an ihrem äussern Umfang mit .einer Abflussöffnung versehen. Diese ist beispielsweise als ein Ablaufrohr 13 ausgebildet, das absperrbar sein kann und durch welches sieh die Flüssigkeit. in einen untergestellten Eimer ergiessen kann.
Nach Abheben der Herdplatte 18 ist die Auffangplatto 22 zur Spülung und Reini gung zugänglich.
Beim gezeichneten Herd ist die Herd platte kreisförmig. Sie könnte aber auch elliptisehe oder ovale Form aufweisen. Diese Formen gestatten eine günstige Aus nutzung der zur Verfügung stehenden Kü chenbodenflächen.
