Gelenkwagen.

Articulated trolley.
The invention relates to an articulated wagon and consists in the fact that two wagon parts provided with a complete chassis are articulated by a center part without a shaft, which consists of a closed wagon body and forms a continuous wagon space with the above-mentioned wagon parts.
The underframes of the two car parts can be equipped with Längsträ. like to be provided, which extend into the head piece of the underframe of the middle part, and carry slideways on which the middle part is slidably supported while maintaining an oil suspension without impairing the mobility of the euro.
The arrangement can, however, also be designed so that the underframe of the middle part is provided with longitudinal beams which extend into the head pieces of the underframes of the two car parts and are slidably mounted on slideways with the interposition of springs Supporting structures of the underframes of the car parts are arranged.
The middle part can be shorter than that
Car parts and the central entry section help.
The middle part can also contain a total of drive means for the articulated trolley. the power transmission to the axles being carried out electrically or mechanically. can.
The hinge pin of the Eurz couplings provided between the central part and the one part of the car can be arranged in a spherical socket of its Lao-er so that it can be displaced in the direction of its longitudinal axis, so that it can protrude upwards or downwards by a considerable amount. to enable the passage of sharp changes in incline.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of an articulated vehicle according to the invention are shown.

Fig. 2 is a plan view, the left half of which shows the seat assembly and the right half of which shows the undercarriage of the cart;
3 is a plan view of the articulated connection between the central part and a carriage part on a large scale;
Fig. 4 is a section on line IV-IV of Fig. 3;
Figure 5 is a section on the line V-V of Figure 3;
Figs. 6 to 8 show the second embodiment, namely
6 shows a plan view of the articulated vehicle, the seat arrangement being shown in the left part and the underframe construction being shown in the right part;
7 shows, on a larger scale, a plan view of the articulated connection between the central part and a carriage part;
FIG. 8 is a section on the line VIII-VIII of FIG. 7.
The articulated carriage shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 consists of carriage parts a and b. which have a complete chassis. c are the driving wheels of the car. Is it a. Trailer axles are provided instead of the drive axles.
Both car parts are articulated to one another by the central part d. The middle part d is much shorter than the car parts and forms the middle entry part.
In addition, the drive means (electric motor, diesel motor) for the articulated vehicle can be arranged in this central part, which drive the Aohsen c through appropriate transmission lines. The shell part d is connected to the wagon parts a and b by folding bellows dl and folding bridges d2, so that a continuous wagon space is created.
On the underside of the middle part d, longitudinal beams f are arranged, which protrude with their inwardly bent fandrines into the transverse beam 1 of the supporting structure of the car parts a and b. Slideways h are provided in the underframe of each wagon part, on which the longitudinal members f, with the interposition of a suspension k with the aid of balls i a. b, support. Instead of mounting on balls, roller or slide mounting can also be provided. The part which rests on the slide h and is supported by the springs 7c could be formed by a spherical surface.
The arrangement is made in such a way that the middle part can twist in relation to the car parts as is necessary when driving through the sharpest curves.
The tensile forces are transmitted through a hinge pin connection.
A hinge pin m (FIGS. 3 and 4) is fixedly mounted on the cross member 1 of each carriage part and secured by a split pin n or a similar machine element. The transfer of the tensile forces to the carriage undercarriage is successful, with the aid of the girder or similar.
A spherical bushing p is provided on each side of the central part and is buried in a two-necked bearing q. This bearing is attached in a suitable manner to the cross member r of the central part.
A considerable amount of play is provided at the points where the bolt wt penetrates through the bearing q.
As a result of this arrangement, the bolt only absorbs the tensile forces, while the vertical loads on the central part are transmitted through the side members f to the underframes of the car parts. The spherical mounting of the bolt m, which is freely displaceable in the bushing p, enables the bolt to be inclined relative to its basic position, so that the carriages a and b move freely with respect to the central part d when driving steep inclines or sharp bends can adjust.
The second exemplary embodiment of the articulated vehicle according to the invention shown in FIGS. 6 to 8 differs from the first exemplary embodiment only in that the longitudinal members, which serve to support the central part, are not arranged on the central part but on the carriage parts, as this can be seen in particular from FIGS. 6 and 7.
In the undercarriage of each wagon part a respectively. b, the longitudinal beams s are arranged, the inwardly curved ends t of which are guided through correspondingly formed slots in the head cross member M of the central part d. The ends of the longitudinal beams s carry slideways on which the central part d is slidably mounted with the interposition of the suspension k with the aid of a ball, roller or sliding bearing i. Each slide h can be provided with a guide groove for the balls i.
The coupling between the middle part d and the car parts a, b can consist of a close coupling of any type.
The coupling is expediently designed as shown in FIG. 4 and described in connection with the first exemplary embodiment.
