Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Farbstoffes der Anthrachinonakridonreihe. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen wert vollen Farbstoff der Anthrachinonakridonreihe erhalten kann, wenn man Pentachloranthra- chinonakridon, das gemäss dem Verfahren des Patentes Nr. 148119 hergestellt werden kann, mit einem Dialkylanilin behandelt.
Das Dialkylanilin tritt bei dem beschrie benen Verfahren nicht in das Molekül ein, sondern bewirkt nur eine Entfernung von 1 Atom Chlor aus diesem.
Der Farbstoff löst sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit orangegelber Farbe und liefert eine violette Küpe, aus der Baumwolle in orangegelben Tönen gefärbt wird.
Beispiel 2 Teile Pentachloranthrachinonakridon, erhältlich zum Beispiel nach dem Verfahren des Patentes Nr. 148119, werden mit 20 Tei len Diäthylanilin ca. 1 Stunde lang gekocht. Die zuerst rote Lösung wird orangegelb, und braungelbe Kristalle scheiden sich aus. Nach dem Abkühlen wird das Reaktionsprodukt abgesaugt, mit Diätbylanilin, Alkohol und Wasser gewaschen und, um es analysenrein zu erhalten, aus Trichlorbenzol umkristallisiert.
Process for the preparation of a dye of the anthraquinone acridone series. It has been found that a valuable anthraquinone acridone series dye can be obtained by treating pentachloroanthraquinone acridone, which can be prepared according to the process of Patent No. 148119, with a dialkylaniline.
The dialkylaniline does not enter the molecule in the process described, but only removes 1 atom of chlorine from it.
The dye dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with an orange-yellow color and provides a purple vat from which cotton is dyed in orange-yellow tones.
Example 2 parts of pentachloroanthraquinone acridone, obtainable, for example, by the method of patent no. 148119, are boiled with 20 parts of diethylaniline for about 1 hour. The initially red solution turns orange-yellow and brown-yellow crystals separate. After cooling, the reaction product is filtered off with suction, washed with dietbylaniline, alcohol and water and, in order to get it analytically pure, recrystallized from trichlorobenzene.
