Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Nüpenfärbstoffes. In dem Hauptpatent Nr. 136050 ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines schwarzen Küpenfarbstoffes beschrieben, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man 1'-Anthrachi- nonyl - 6 - aminobenzantbron mit alkalischen Mitteln behandelt.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass mau in analoger Weise ebenfalls einen wertvollen Küpenfarb- atoff erhalten kann, wenn man Dibrom-1'- anthrachitronyl-7-aminobenzanthrotr, das durch Behandeln von 1 Mol 1'-Anthrachinonyl-7- aminobenzanthron bei gewöhnlicher Tempe ratur mit mindestens 1 Mol Brom in Gegen wart von Ohlorsulfonsäure erhalten werden kann, mit alkalisch wirkenden Mitteln be handelt.
Der erhaltene Farbstoff löst sich in kon zentrierter Schwefelsäure mit violettbrauner Farbe und gibt mit Natronlauge und Hydrosulfit eine blaue Küpe, aus der die pflanzliche Faser in echten schwarzen Tönen gefärbt wird.
<I>Beispiel 1:</I> 10 Teile Dibrom-1'-anthrachitionyl-7-ami- nobenzantbron, dargestellt zum Beispiel durch Bromieren von 1 Mol 1'-Anthrachinonyl-7- aminobenzanthron mit mindestens 1 Mol Brom bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur in Gegen wart von Chlorsulfonsäure, werden mit 50 Teilen Ätzkali und 30 Teilen Äthylalkohol solange bei etwa<B>180-1900</B> C verschmolzen, bis die Farbstoffbildung beendet ist.
Danach wird die Schmelze noch solange mit Wasser gekocht, bis der Farbstoff sich völlig aus geschieden hat; man filtriert und wäscht mit heissem Wasser aus.
Beispiel <I>2:</I> 5 Teile eines technischen Dibrom-1'-an- thrachinonyl-7-amino-benzanthrons, das kleine Mengen Dibrom-1'-anthrachinonyl-6-amino- benzanthron enthält, dargestellt aus 1 112o1 technischem 1'-Anthrachinonyl-7-aminobenz- anthron, das kleine Mengen 1'-Anthrachi- nonyl - 6 - aminobenzanthron enthält,
durch Behandeln mit 1 Mol Brom bei gewöhnlicher Temperatur in Gegenwart von Ohloreulfon- säure, werden mit 20 Teilen Ätzkali und 15 Teilen absolutem Alkohol solange bei 180-190 C verschmolzen, bis die Farb- stoffbildung beendet ist.

The dye obtained dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a violet-brown color and gives a blue vat with sodium hydroxide solution and hydrosulfite, from which the vegetable fiber is dyed in real black shades.
