Telephonver mittlungsschr anh.
Telephone switchboard The present invention relates to switch cabinets for telephone systems and, more particularly, to double sided switch cabinets with an extension.
An essential requirement in the construction of such a switch cabinet is that the cabinets be very compact, low-profile, and that their equipment and wiring be easily accessible for inspection and repair.
It has previously been suggested that easy access to the field connections can be obtained by staggering the fields on either side of a double-sided essay with respect to one another. This required a great deal of effort if the workstations were arranged normally on each side. Furthermore, such switch cabinets must often be equipped with slip distribution means, whereby slips that are described with information about desired connections can be transmitted from one officer to the other.
In the case of double-sided switch cabinets of the above-mentioned and other known types, such an arrangement would have to be arranged on both sides in order to be accessible to all officers.
The present invention overcomes these disadvantages.
According to the invention, a double-sided switch cabinet with an attachment is characterized in that the latch fields are arranged on each side of the attachment, the rear sides facing one another.
Furthermore, the switch cabinet can be constructed so that the equipment contained therein, such as handle, lamp or signal strips, can be removed from the corresponding front sides of the attachments and that the wiring is accessible from the top of the attachment. As a result of the low total height of the switching cabinet obtained through this construction, it is also possible to dimension the vertical handle fields so that the middle of the note distribution center on the top of the attachment can be arranged in such a way that the Bearntinnen on both sides of the switching cabinet sit, become accessible.
An Ausfübrungsforrn the subject of the invention will be better ver understandable by reference to the accompanying drawings, in which Fig. 1 is a side view of the switching cabinet, Fig. 2 is a plan, Fig. 3 is a sectional view through the plane AA of Fig. 1, Fig. 4 is another sectional view showing the arrangement of relay racks.
The drawing shows a telecommunication cabinet with four workstations, two on each side. The horizontal desk parts 1 are equipped with the usual work equipment, which is shown at point 2, and the plugs and connecting cords 3 provided.
Above the desk parts 1 is the essay 4, which carries the vertical latch fields 5, which are built up from the rotatable horizontal latch strips 6 with assigned signal strips.
The upper part of the attachment 4 can be opened ge, since it has paneling 7 provided with hinges ver. In this way, the cabling that is arranged in space 8 of the attachments is accessible. The front paneling 9, which carry the latch fields, etc., can also ent neither below or side hinges, making it possible to open them and to achieve better access to the cabling development.
The note distribution arrangement is visible at point 10 and the container 1.1 for the notes is appropriately arranged on the upper side of the attachment 4, where, due to the low overall height of the desk, all officers who work at the desk, is accessible.
The relay for the Be amtin's circuits and the like are shown on rectangular frames 12 shown in Fig. 4 on each side of the desk. The Ge stelle 12 are rotatably superimposed at the point 13 so that they can be covered with a flat elbow after they are rotated into their stel ment within the desk. If the racks outside of the desk are pulled into the position shown in FIG. 4, all the cabling is accessible on the back of the racks. The frames are equipped with support joints 14.
