I>C C</I></B> einnehmen.
I>Q</I></B> Fig. 4, befinden.
Rotary lobe compressor with several cells, For rotary lobe compressors. In the multi-cell design, the rotary piston heats up considerably under the action of the hot, compressed gases or vapors, as well as under the action of the frictional work which the slides forming the cells have to perform.
On the other hand, rotary lobe compressors of this design cannot yet be sealed internally in such a way that no hot, compressed gases or vapors flow over from the pressure chamber to the suction chamber due to loss. The amount of gases or vapors flowing back into the suction chamber is rather considerable. The consequence of this is that the newly sucked in fresh gases or vapors heat up through mixing with the hot waste gases or vapors, so that the initial temperature of the mixture is significantly higher than that of the newly drawn in gases or vapors.
The further consequence is a higher final temperature of the gases or vapors which are subsequently compressed, and a further consequence that the rotary piston is not sufficiently cooled by the fresh air, gases or vapors drawn in.
It takes place subsequently. Damaging cycle in which the final temperature of the compressed gases or vapors on the one hand and the temperature of the rotary lever on the other hand oteigern each other, possibly up to the failure of the machine due to overheating.
The purpose of the present invention is to remedy this inconvenience by, on the one hand, the hot gases or vapors of high temperature flowing back from the pressure spaces into the compressor's Satigraum, at least for the most part, for example through the facilities described below from the machine before the entry Digestions are removed in order to replace them with fresh gases or vapors which, on the other hand, also ensure good cooling of the rotary piston at the same time.
These devices can be made in such a way that a stream of fresh gases or vapors of low temperature flows through the suction side of the machine, which even comprises a significantly larger quantity than the delivery rate of the machine itself. Some of the gases or vapors, the excess, must leave the compressor again after it has reached the hot rotary piston. it warms, but has cooled thieves.
In doing so, however, the hot waste gases or vapors that flow from the pressure side into the satellite area are removed. were, at least for the most part, flushed out of the compressor. You are therefore not able to continue to heat the rotary piston and the freshly drawn in gases or vapors. This also results in a better degree of compressor delivery and lower power consumption.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown and FIG. 1 means the elevation with the exterior view of a rotary piston compressor, FIG. 2 shows a horizontal section according to <I> a <B> b </B> </ I > and Fig. 3 </B> a vertical cross section according to c <B><I>d.</I> </B> Fig. 4 is a cross section through another embodiment of the rotary piston compressor.
<B> A </B> is the machine housing (Fig. <B> 1, </B> 2, 3, 4) in which the rotary piston B is rotatably mounted about its axis, eccentrically, in such a way that the Rotary piston almost touches the machine housing along a generatrix. On the machine housing, Ai means the outlet connection with the corresponding outlet opening, -A2, <B><I>-As</I> </B> the suction or inlet and outlet holes or slots.
The rotary piston B is slotted many times; Slide slides <B> C. </B> operated by centrifugal force or mechanical aids slide in the slots
<B> D </B> in Fig. 2 is a small fan that is driven by belt pulley F on the shaft of the rotary piston through the belt pulley <B> G </B> on the shaft of the fan. In FIGS. 1 and 3, the fan is omitted.
If the compressor now comes into operation, Fig. 1-3, </B> in that the rotary piston rotates in the direction of the arrow, the rotor B, machine housing <B> A </B> and slide C exercise formed cells, which continuously enlarge on the suction side, a sucking effect. On the other hand, on the pressure side, the cells are getting smaller and smaller, so they compress the content, consisting of gases or vapors, until it can escape through the pressure nozzle A1 and the corresponding outlet opening.
However, some of the compressed gases or vapors of high temperature flows through the loss gaps, leaks in the machine, from the pressure side to the suction side and heats the freshly sucked in gases or vapors there. According to FIG. 2, however, the ventilator <B> D </B> draws off the gases or vapors contained in the suction spaces again, through the openings Off 3, while at the same time fresh gases through the openings A2. </B> or vapors after being sucked in.
A gas or steam flow is thus formed through the suction chamber, which goes from the openings <B> A? </B> to the openings <B> As </B>, which cools the hot rotary piston and at the same time d? e entrains hot gases or vapors that got lost in the suction chamber. Therefore only cool gases or vapors are used for compression.
This flow through the suction chamber of the compressor takes place during the rotation of the rotary piston, mainly perpendicular to the rotational movement.
The inlet and outlet holes can also be distributed in such a way that, for example, the holes A2 at the right end of the machine housing as inlet holes, the holes <B> A !, </B> at the left end. serve as outlet holes. The fan, which can press or suck in relation to the suction chamber of the compressor, is then connected to one or the other group of holes <B> A2 </B>. The holes <B> .As </B> are superfluous with this type of distribution.
With this arrangement, the cooling air flow flows through the compressor's satellite space over its entire length in the same direction.
If one wishes to dispense with the complication of attaching a veritiator with certain compressors, the inlet and outlet holes <B> A2, Yes </B> can be made in such a way that the suction cells are ventilated atomatically without the need for special conveying equipment.
For this purpose, in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 4, the slots or holes A2, As are horizontally offset from one another, namely in such a way that a cell in circulation first enters the inlet opening A2 </B> or openings <B> Ar </B> covers so that fresh gases or vapors can now flow in.
The slides <B> 0 </B> are then in the dotted position Ci. Experience has shown that a certain overpressure is created in the cell due to the inertia of the gases or vapors, which have a high flow velocity. When the cell continues, however, the opening or a plurality of openings <B> As </B> is then also covered, which are designed in such a way that they still open inside the cell, so that now both openings or series of openings within the cell with the sliders in the <B> <I> CC </I> </B> position.
The gas or vapor stream entering from A2 can therefore exit again at <B> As </B> and a continuous movement of these gases or vapors is formed as a result, which flush the cell, the gases originating from the pressure side or Remove vapors from it, leaving only fresh gases or vapors in the cell. Since new cells keep moving from position Ci, Ci to position C., <B><I>C</I> </B>, the process of this flushing out is a continuous one, a continuous stream of Gases or vapors, which in the end owes its energy to the singing effect of the compressor.
The process can also be repeated at the same time on different cells and by attaching pipes <B> E </B> according to FIG. 4 to the suction openings <B> A2, </B> and to the outflow openings As the power of the gas columns has been increased by increasing the mass of the moving columns in this way.
This device also takes care of sucking in a larger quantity of gases or vapors than the delivery rate of the compressor makes, so that part of the machine has to leave the machine again, causing the desired rinsing of the cells and the cooling of the rotor.
It is also possible to combine both methods, namely artificial ventilation by means of a ventilator or an apparatus that replaces it, as well as that of ventilation by means of the satellite effect of the rotary lobe compressor itself.
For example, it is also possible to install an apparatus in the suction line at the <B> openings </B> openings <B> A2 </B> which, during the suction period, i.e. when the slides are in position Ci, Ci, Fig. 4, occupy, is driven by the flowing gases or vapors, which thus absorbs and stores energy during this time, for example by means of mass inertia, and continues to work in the period of blowing out, i.e. when the slide is in position C, <B><I>Q</I> </B> Fig. 4.
During this period the device can now emit energy and exert a blowing effect, i.e. convey gases or vapors into the singing chamber of the rotary piston machine. An internally pressurized radial turbine can fulfill this task because it acts as a ventilator when it is blown out when it continues to work through its own inertia.
If a fan with mechanical drives according to FIG. 2 is used, it can also be attached in such a way that it has a pressing effect instead of sucking. In this case, the excess gases or vapors leave the suction space through the openings A2, A2, while the fresh gases or vapors enter through the openings As. In addition to the linear drive for the fan, any other drive means can also be selected, for example an electric motor, which would have the particular advantage of giving the fan a high number of revolutions.
In place of the fan one can also use some other apparatus which does the same thing, in that it has a sucking or pressing effect on the suction chamber of the device and which is operated by some kind of force. This includes, for example, jet devices. So can if. the compressor is also cooled by water, the outflowing cooling water of which <B> long </B> to operate a jet device for use, or the flowing cooling water.
It is finally also possible and possibly useful to intercept purge gases or vapors emerging through the openings <I> As, As </I> in a pipeline, to cool them there and to feed them back to the compressor.
