      Das im Hauptpatent Nr. 120651 be  schriebene     Dinatriumsalz'der        4-iminomethyleri-          schwefiigen        Säure-2-auromer,captobenzol-l-          sulfosäure    kann, wie gefunden wurde, auch  in der Weise erhalten werden, dass man       formaldehydschwefligsaures    Natrium auf das       Natriumsalz    der     4-Amino-2-auromercapto-          berizol-l-sulfosäure    einwirken lässt.  



  <I>Beispiel</I>  Man löst 42,3 Teile     4-arnino-2-aurorner-          captobenzol-l-solfosauresNatrium    in 200 Teilen  Wasser, fügt 13 Teile     formaldehydschweflig-          saures    Natrium zu und erhitzt die Lösung  unter Rühren zum Sieden. Man lässt erkalten  und fällt die gebildete     Formaldehydbisulfit-          verbindung    mit Alkohol-. Die Verbindung ist  hellgelb, in Wasser leicht löslich und hat    einen Goldgehalt von 36 %; sie zeichnet sich  durch hervorragende therapeutische Eigen  schaften aus.
