mir.
me. The present invention relates to a watch, the novelty of which is that the watch case is designed as an animal body. According to the country for which the clock is intended, the case will preferably be given the shape of an animal that is sacred to the country in question. For example, a crocodile may be used in Egypt and an elephant in India. In this form, the clock can also serve as a kind of talisman.
In the accompanying drawings, several embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, namely: Fig. 1 is the view of a clock with the side, Fig. 2 is the view of a clock with down, Fig. 3 is the front view and side view of a clock with upward 4 the side and front view of a clock with a clockwork housing that rushes when opening a clock face cover, FIG. 5 the view and two cross-sections of a clock with a displaceably arranged clockwork housing,
6 shows two views of a clock with a clock mechanism housing that can be swung out from the inside of the clock housing, FIG. 7 shows the view and two cross sections of a clock with a clock mechanism housing rotatably mounted in the interior of the clock housing.
The hinged cover 2 covering the dial 1 is formed in the embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to ä in such a way that it forms part of the animal's body, whereby the watch case in the closed state is a faithful replica of the animal.
Instead of a single hinged cover 2 that opens to the side, two cover wings, each covering half of the dial, or one on top of the other, can be arranged which open to the opposite side when opened.
In the embodiment of Fig. 4, the movement housing 3 when opening the hinged cover 2 by means of a leaf spring 4 in the animal's carcass or a spring engaging in the hinge is tilted upwards, whereby the dial 1 is clearly visible from the front. The locking of the movement housing 3 in the animal's body takes place, for example, by means of a spring hook 5 which leaves the blocking position by pressing on the spring 6 which is under the action of a spring.
The animal body can also be formed by two halves connected to one another by means of hinge, so that it consists of two shells of the same size, the parting line of which lies in the vertical longitudinal center plane. The movement housing is mounted in these shells in such a way that when the same is opened it automatically stands between them and thus completely fills the opened shell mouth, showing the dial.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 5, there is an opening 7 in the animal body on the underside, from which the Werh- housing 3 can be pushed out. In the pushed-in position, the work housing 3 is held in place by means of a locking hook, which also prevents the Mrerl @ housing 3 from being completely pulled out by snapping it into the opening 9.
Instead of on the underside, according to the embodiment according to FIG. 6, an opening 10 can also be located on the back of the animal body, from which the movement housing 3 is pivoted. If the latter is under the action of a spring 11, it snaps itself actively out of the animal body after the lid is released.
It is also possible to arrange the movement housing 3 in the animal body so that it can be tilted about a horizontal or vertical axis 12. In this case, the pivoting movement in one direction can be carried out automatically by a spring, so that when the latter is triggered, the ZVerk housing 3 rotates, for example, in an animal's body so that the dial is visible (Fig. 7).
The movement housing can with a cover piece @ 1.3 or. 14 (Fig. 6 and 7) be provided, BEZW after pivoting. Turning the movement case 3 in the clock. housing, the outlet opening 10 or 15 is covered and designed so that the closed watch case represents a \ aclihildung of the animal. The material of manufacture, size, other equipment and decoration of the animal's body serving as a watch case is arbitrary.
