wo sieh ihre Geschwindigkeit verlangsamt. Kleine Ü ltropfen erfahren hier beim Durchtritt. durch das Sieb eine Zerstäubung: während die etwa noch vorhandenen grösseren Ültrop- fen sich in den Maschen des Rohrsiebe; ver fangen, treten die zerstäubten und gasförmi- gen Teile des Öls in den ringförmigen Hohl raum des Gehäuses p hinüber und unter der bis hierher sich erstreckenden-Saugwirkung, de.-;
Device for saving fuel when operating an explosion engine. The present invention is a further embodiment of the device set out in the main patent for saving fuel when operating an explosion engine. The accompanying drawing represents in a vertical section a Ausfüh approximately example of the subject invention on an upright explosion engine, z. B. a motor vehicle.
The space located in the upper end of the cylinder c is followed by the explosion chamber x with the ignition device r. From the upper part of the cylinder goes left from the exhaust pipe a, which is then bent to the right, goes through behind the cylinder and is then a bit far parallel to the line b. The line lt , the so-called carburetor suction pipe, coming from the carburetor g is connected to the antechamber y located under the suction valve v.
Through a lateral approach of the crankcase d, a channel q leads to a relatively wide, zy-cylindrical housing p, closed with a removable cover, which is double-walled along its length. tubular sieve s, also imaginary cylindrical, is penetrated; the inner wall of this pipe sieve can for example consist of perforated sheet metal, while the outer wall is advantageous. is formed from wire gauze. The channel q opens within the sie bes in the housing p.
A pipe b is connected to the annular cavity between the pipe screen s and the inner wall of the housing p , which runs as far as possible along the exhaust pipe a. If necessary, a jacket surrounding both the pipe b and the exhaust pipe a can be seen easily on the route in question. A regulator f for the flow cross-section is switched into the pipe b, which regulator can be actuated both directly and by actuating a shut-off device installed in the suction pipe lt. The end b 'of the pipe b opens into the carburetor pipe h.
A pipe r is connected to the connection piece e of the crankcase d, the forward plug of which forms a housing with a head end designed as a sieve through which the exhaust pipe a passes.
The oil droplets thrown out of the crankcase d by the crank when the engine is running and the oldariipf, which is formed from the lubricating oil in the crankcase, pass through together under the effect of the preheated air flowing past the exhaust pipe and flowing through the pipe r the narrow channel q into the interior of the tubular screen s penetrating the housing p,
where see their speed slows down. Small drops of oil experience here when passing through. atomization through the sieve: while any larger oil drops that may still be present settle in the mesh of the tubular sieve; caught, the atomized and gaseous parts of the oil pass into the annular cavity of the housing p over and under the suction effect that extends up to this point, de.-;
Piston k into tube h. Since this pipe is guided along the exhaust pipe a, the oil gases are heated; in this state they unite:
After passing the regulator f with the gas mixture supplied by the carburetor g and during the suction strokes of the piston 7c, during which the valve z # (which shuts off the prechamber y), enters the explosion chamber x, where inflammation occurs.
