Pinsel üud Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung. Bei den bekannten Pinseln, wie sie zum Beispiel im Malergewerbe verwendet wer den, ist das Borstenbüschel in einer Mischung von Leim, Kitt und Kreide gegründet und eingebunden und in einer sogenannten I'lauschfassung am Pinselstiel mittelst eines Drahtbundes festgelegt. Hierbei kommt es oft vor, dass die Borsten ausfallen oder dass der ganze Borstensatz aus dem Stiele aus bricht.
Ausserdem benötigt der Pinsel eine Borsteneinfassung im Stiele von mindestens 15 mm Tiefe, was die verfügbare freie Länge der Borsten verkürzt, ein Umstand, der bei dem hohen Preise dieses Materials nicht zu vernachlässigen ist.
Die Erfindung betrifft nun einen Pinsel, welcher diese Nachteile nicht aufweist, und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung desselben. Der vorliegende Pinsel zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass der Borstenbüschel an der Basis mit Sand in eine Ringzwinge eingepresst, durch einen in das Büschel eingetriebenen Spreizzapfen darin festgelegt und am Pinsel stiel dadurch befestigt ist, dass einerseits der Spreizzapfen in einer entsprechenden Höhlung des Stiels fest eingesteckt und anderseits die Büschelbasis mit der Zwinge in einer rlauschfassung des Pinselteils mit- telst eines Drahtbundes festgelegt ist.
Das Verfahren zur Herstellung des Pin sels besteht darin, dass der Borstenbüschel an der Basis mit Sand eingerieben und in eine Ringzwinge eingepresst, dann ein Spreiz- zapfen in die Büschelbasis eingetrieben wird, um dieselbe in der Ringzwinge fest zulegen,
hierauf der Spreizzapfen mit seinem frei abstehenden Teil in einer entsprechenden Höhlung des Pinselstiels fest eingeklebt und die Büschelbasis mit der Zwinge in einer h'lauschfassung des Pinselstiels mit- telst eines Drahtbundes festgelegt wird.

a ist die Ringzwinge, die in Naturgrösse etwa 7 mm hoch ist und in welche das Borstenbüschel b an der Basis, mit Sand eingerieben, eingepresst ist. In das Borsten büschel b ist zentral ein Spreizzapfen c eingetrieben, der das Büschel b in der Ringzwinge a unverrückbar festlegt und i,ach unten zu um eine gewisse Länge über die Basisfläche des Büschels b vorsteht.
M=it diesem vorstehenden Teil ist der Spreiz- zapfen c in einer zentralen Höhlung d des Pinselstiels f fest eingeklebt, während die Büschelbasis mit der Ringzwinge a in einer an sich bekannten Flauschfassung g des Stiels, worunter man einen dünnen, an zahllosen Stellen achsial aufgeschlitzten, biegsamen Holzkranz am Stielkopf versteht, mittelst eines Drahtbundes festgelegt ist.
Der beschriebene Pinsel sieht dem alten äusserlich ganz gleich, zeigt aber einen der art festen Sitz des Borstenbüschels, dass ein Ausfallen von Borsten oder ein Heraus brechen des ganzen Büschels aus dem Stiel unmöglich ist. Ausserdem hat der Pinsel den Vorteil, dass er sofort gebrauchsfertig ist, da. ein Trocknen von Chemikalien nicht mehr in Frage kommt. Infolge 'Wegfalles solcher Stoffe lässt sich der Pinsel in Flüs sigkeiten, Säuren usw. gebrauchen, ohne dass ein Lösen des Sitzes zu befürchten ist.
Ver möge der Befestigung des Büschels am Stiel mittelst des Spreizzapfens c kann die Ein satzhöhe für das Büschel in der Flausch- fassung kürzer als sonst gehalten werden, so dass man am Borstenbüschel an freier, ver fügbarer Länge etwas gewinnt gegenüber dem üblichen Büscheleinsatz.

The process for producing the brush consists in rubbing the base of the tuft of bristles with sand and pressing it into a ring clamp, then driving an expanding pin into the base of the tuft to fix it in the ring clamp,
thereupon the expanding pin with its freely protruding part is firmly glued into a corresponding cavity of the brush handle and the tuft base is fixed with the clamp in a socket of the brush handle by means of a wire bundle.
