Feeding device for cigar wrappers on cigar machines. The present invention relates to a feed device for cigar wrappings on cigar machines.
So far in commercial use be sensitive feed devices for the cigar wrappings on cigar machines be sat a floating wrapping support. In these devices, the floating covering carrier was carried by a short arm, which was articulated on a long arm rotatable about a stand. Here, the floating wrap carrier had a very intricate movement and long handlebars were required to bring about this movement. This intricate movement of the wearer was of such a nature that there was a quick halt.
Starting and a quick change of mutual positions of the various parts were required. Although no great force was required to do the work, the parts were necessarily quite heavy and their moment of inertia, the long handlebars and the many joints inevitably wore them out. This then gave rise to inaccuracies again when the wrapping was applied to the cigar wrap by the wrapping mechanism.
It has been found that these difficulties can be largely eliminated by the articulation of the holder arm, which pins the carrier, approximately in its center. This allows the floating enclosure support to be brought closer to its stand and the moment of inertia to be reduced, and it is made possible to reduce the size, weight and cost of the entire machine.
The subject matter of the invention is a feeding device, which is improved in the above sense, for the cigar wrappers on cigar machines.
The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention through Fig. 1 in a partially broken plan, and through Fig. 2 in a partially broken side elevation with a partially white section, 3 denotes a hollow, floating cover carrier of conventional design.
It has a hollow shaft 4, rotatably mounted in the free end of an arm, which is provided with an arm 5 at its upper end, by means of which the shaft 4 is rotated in a sleeve 6 attached to the free end of the arm holding the casing support - can be.
The Trägerha.lterarm be consists of two hollow, at 9 gelexihig mitein other connected parts 7 and 8, -which the hinge point is approximately in the middle of the holder arm. The end of the carrier holder arm is fastened by means of an adjusting screw 14 to the upper end of a vertical tube 10, which is in a stand 11 fastened to the gesture plate 12 of the cigar machine.
is rotatably mounted. The tube 10 is at the lower end by a tube not shown with a: suction device and above with the part 8 of the arm 7, 8 in connec tion and is closed by a lid 13, the upper end of the same. The tube 10 serves not only as a part of the Saugeinrich device to hold an envelope on the carrier 3, but also as an oscillating shaft, by means of which the carrier holder arm is moved around the stand.
For this purpose, a gear segment 15 is attached to the tube 10 under the frame plate 12, which wheel segment 16, 17 engages in a pivotable about a pin 18 tooth. The pivot in an 18 serving as a control element is fastened in a bearing 19 fastened on the underside of the rack 7.2.
A side arm 20 of the gear segment 16, 17 carries a roller 21 which vennut in a Kur 22 on the circumference of a drum. 23 intervenes. The latter is attached to one of the shafts of the machine, which are not shown. The mechanism just described swings part 8 around the stand of the suspended one. Cladding carrier @.
Part 7 of the porter holder. is niit an arm 24, whose free end a vertical bearing sleeve 25 for the axle pin of a roller 26 carries. This role is running
