Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Wismutsalzes einer merkurierten, organischen, I einen Säurerest enthaltenden Verbindung. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einer therapeutisch wichtigen, gleichzeitig Queck silber und Wismut enthaltenden Verbindung gelangen kann, wenn man Merkuriphenyl- chinolinkarbonsäure in Form ihrer Alkalisalze mit Wistnutsalzen zusammenbringt. Der Ge halt an Quecksilber schwankt<B>je</B> nach der Menge der angewandten Komponenten.
Die neue Verbindung zeichnet sich durch eine kräftige Wirkung bei Syphilis aus und ist weniger giftig, als nach ihrem Gehalt an merkurierter Verbindung erwartet werden sollte.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 4,8 gr des Natriumsalzes der Oxyrnerkuri-2- phenylchinolin-4-eai,bonsaLire (D.R.P. <B>289246)</B> werden mit der erforderlichen Menge Wasser in Lösung gebracht Lind mit 3,15 gr Wismut- chlorid, gelöst in<B>5</B> cem konzentrierter Salz säure und 20 ccm Wasser, versetzt.

It has been found that a therapeutically important compound containing mercury and bismuth at the same time can be obtained by combining mercury-phenyl-quinoline-carboxylic acid in the form of its alkali metal salts with Wistnut salts. The mercury content varies <B> depending </B> on the amount of components used.
The new compound has a powerful effect on syphilis and is less toxic than should be expected based on its mercurated compound content.
<I> Example: </I> 4.8 gr of the sodium salt of Oxyrnerkuri-2-phenylquinoline-4-eai, bonsaLire (DRP <B> 289246) </B> are brought into solution with the required amount of water and with 3 , 15 g bismuth chloride, dissolved in <B> 5 </B> cem concentrated hydrochloric acid and 20 ccm water, added.
