Abstract

A cylindrical battery according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator between them, and having a central hole formed when a laminate comprising the first electrode, the second electrode, and the separator is wound around a winding axis; a battery casing that receives the electrode assembly through an opening formed on one side thereof; and a flame-resistant element, at least a portion of which is disposed inside the central hole.
