Abstract
La présente concerne un procédé de récupération de solvant paraffinique de résidus produits dans le traitement de la mousse de bitume, comprenant l'introduction des résidus dans une unité de récupération de solvant de résidus (URSR), ladite unité URSR ayant des parties internes, et les résidus étant distribués sur les parties internes. Un gaz inerte ou de la vapeur est ensuite introduit sous les parties internes et au-dessus du bain liquide pour améliorer l'évaporation du solvant qui y est contenu. Le solvant est vaporisé à partir d'agglomérats d'asphaltènes. Dans un mode de réalisation, le procédé est réalisé en l'absence de moyens mécaniques utilisés pour essentiellement briser les agglomérats d'asphaltènes ou empêcher l'agglomération des asphaltènes. Dans une autre configuration, le procédé consiste à introduire les résidus dans une première unité URSR comme il est décrit ci-dessus, puis dans une seconde URSR fonctionnant à une pression inférieure. Dans une autre configuration, les parties internes sont facultativement présentes et de la vapeur ou du gaz inerte est injecté dans le bain liquide.
